Discovery Commons in Whittier was the ideal transition for our matriarch, who sought a harmonious blend of assisted living and the preservation of her personal space and independence. She consistently expressed her satisfaction with the decision to move to Discovery Commons. We all appreciated the facility’s cleanliness and the genuine care provided by the staff. Their warm and welcoming demeanor made our frequent visits enjoyable. It wasn’t long before we understood why she formed such close bonds with the staff and residents. It was evident that all residents received the same professional and caring attention, creating a positive and nurturing atmosphere. We couldn’t have chosen a better place for our grandmother to spend her final months. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Discovery Commons Whittier management and staff for their exceptional care and support.

We cannot say enough good things about George and the entire team at Whittier Commons. Back in December, my grandpa was being discharged from the hospital and we were overwhelmed trying to figure out the next steps. George stepped in during our time of need and made the entire transition quick, smooth, and stress-free. He handled every detail with such care and professionalism that what could have been a difficult, chaotic move turned into a simple and easy process. We truly felt supported every step of the way. I recently came back to visit my grandpa, and I was amazed by how well he is doing. He has improved so much since moving in both physically and in his overall happiness and comfort. The quality of care, the clean and welcoming environment, and the genuine attention from the staff have made a world of difference for him. George runs a truly great place. Whittier Commons feels more like a caring community than just a facility. If you’re looking for a place where your loved one will be treated with dignity, respect, and real compassion, I highly recommend Whittier Commons. George and his team went above and beyond for our family, and we are forever grateful. Thank you, George!

My parents were both residents here. My Dad was in memory care. The team here did such a great job and were so caring. It took so much off my mind to know they were in fantastic care. I cannot say enough good things about this facility. Both of my parents have now passed but I feel so good that they were in GREAT hands here. You will not be disappointed.

I can’t say enough about the exceptional care and service at Whittier Place Senior Living. A client of mine is in their memory care unit, and after speaking with family members who have loved ones at this facility, I’ve been consistently impressed with the level of care and attention they provide. What’s noteworthy is the fairly new administrative staff at Whittier Place, and the existing members of staff that I’ve had the pleasure to work with. Special mention goes to Amanda, the Activity Director, who goes above and beyond to ensure residents have engaging and fulfilling days. And, of course, Elizabeth in residential sales, whose dedication and commitment to families seeking care solutions is truly commendable. The entire staff, both new and experienced, creates a warm and nurturing environment. Their dedication to the residents is truly heartwarming. Communication is outstanding - they keep families well-informed about their loved ones’ well-being and any changes in their condition. It’s a tremendous comfort to know their residents are in such capable and caring hands. The facility itself is not only clean but also beautifully updated. It’s clear that Whittier Place places a high priority on providing a safe and pleasant living space for their residents. I’m grateful to have found Whittier Place Senior Living, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking a place that genuinely cares for their loved ones.
