Back in February nurse p came to my house to see test my husband to see if he could come to their memory care. He was approved, but they didn’t have a private room open at the time. My husband is a private person and didn’t want a roommate, even though the rooms were separated I know he wouldn’t had liked it. So I ended up finding another place for him.

I really liked nurse p when she came to my house. She was very nice and easy to talk to, explained the move in process, explained how the dementia disease can impact our lives. Last week she texted me just to see how me and my husband were doing. I couldn’t believe she remembered us after 6 months. That really meant a lot to me because she didn’t have to do that, it just showed that she really cared.

Let me tell you, dementia is not easy and my husband gives me a run for my money. The day she texted me I was glad to hear from her because I was having a rough time. It made me feel like we weren’t just another sale to her or the company. She really cared and still remembered us even though my husband never moved there.

We may have found another place, but nurse p left a lasting impression on me. Not everybody takes the time to check on people months later. The company is lucky to have her. Thank you nurse p for being you and for giving me the time to vent, it meant more than you know.
