Dad has been a resident at Vista Senior Living since the end of April and we felt like part of the Vista family right from the start. He is cared for with love, patience and lots of laughs together! Staff gave him the nickname, Mr. Smooth.” We think it’s great!<br><br>He has a balcony that he can sit out on and daydream about skiing at Pico. We placed a bird feeder on the railing and there is a wonderful variety that visit.<br><br>Dad enjoys the meals and the conversations with other residents and staff.<br><br>The Vista property used to be the Cortina Inn, for those who don’t know. People ask me, “is anyone there because there are not many cars?” Well, most residents aren’t driving anymore and the large lot was in place for the many guests who stayed there.<br><br>We are able to visit anytime of day and we take dad to our home every week for cherished family time or out for a scenic drive for lunch and (of course) ice cream.<br>We highly recommend Vista Senior Living in Mendon!

Caring and supportive staff. My family is treated with kindness and positivity. There are many activities for residence. My mother loves when singers come in, bingo, and crafts. They have family dinners several times a year and the food is excellent. They are a safe community with room to walk outside. A very large library offers residence a way to get books easily. I highly recommend VISTA. My parents have been in other assisted living places and we are so much more impressed with VISTA.

I can’t say enough about The Vistas. My mom was one of the OG’s (originals) and she lived her best life and was treated like the queen she was by the staff.<br><br>When it cane closer to the end they were there to guide us and help us through until the end.<br><br>We are so thankful for everyone there and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Although I cannot speak from a family member standpoint, I can speak as someone in the community who has crossed paths with the team at Vista Senior Living.<br>Every interaction I’ve had has been met with kindness, patience, and genuine care. The staff truly seems invested in the people they serve. The community itself is welcoming, with large, open spaces for activities, beautiful outdoor areas, and plenty of room for holiday dinners and gatherings.<br>It’s clear this is a place where residents are treated with respect and compassion, and where creating a sense of community truly matters.

Update: 2 years later<br><br>Vista continues to be a wonderful place for mom. Their care and attentiveness has never wavered during the two years mom has lived there, even as the community has grown. Janette, Daniel, Luis and the care staff have taken amazing care of her through a number of ups and downs, and they continue to consistently provide thoughtful meals, daily activities, transportation to appointments, beautifully planned special events and, importantly, a dose of good humor.<br><br>The leadership team truly care about the residents and routinely solicit their input and feedback.<br><br>I am grateful to Vista for the great care they have given mom and the peace of mind they have given me throughout our sometimes difficult journey.<br><br>I continue to highly recommend Vista Senior Living.<br><br>Original review 2023:<br><br>After a fall, it became clear it was time to relocate mom to VT to be closer to us so we could better manage her care. Finding the “right” place - one that would offer the independence she wanted with the support she needed - was a tall order.<br><br>We were thrilled to find Vista. Luis, Daniel, Janette and the care staff make mom feel welcome and comfortable each and every day. One of the things that appealed to us was the size of the community. A trial run in a larger community in another state didn’t work out - it was too big and overwhelming and mom was too often “forgotten”. Vista is a smaller community and the staff are the right level of attentive - giving us the peace of mind we desperately needed after months of stress and tears.<br><br>The apartments are cozy and the facility is spotless. Mom enjoys the company of other residents at meal times and the daily exercise and crafts. We are very pleased with our Vista experience.
