Visiting Angels of Lake Oswego is fabulous. The process of accepting the need, searching for, and making the decision to incorporate a company to provide emotional and physical support to my near-deaf 90-year old mother with dementia is, generally speaking, very daunting and draining. Not so with Visiting Angels. My interface with them from the initial phone contact, through the discovery process, and into the scheduling and placement, has been exceptionally smooth. The Staff is upbeat and helpful. The Case Manager is knowledgeable, organized, communicative, and ensures that service needs are aligned, and expectations are met. Our caregiver Mari, has been exceptional. She has a calming and genuine-caring presence to which my mother was drawn. In a few short weeks, my mother is now actively engaged in games she had previously lost interest in, and expresses joy in lively conversation. I am very happy and thankful for the sunshine that Visiting Angels and Mari brings to my mother.
