Wendy at Visiting Angels has been a true blessing to our family. The quality of care she provides my mother & father is outstanding! She holds a true passion for helping others and extends the knowledge she has gained from her own parental care experience to benefit her clients. She is responsible, respectful, and resourceful. Wendy, I am so thankful for how considerate and patient you are in the care you provide to my parents and pray that this partnership in service can continue to bless their well-being.

I cannot express how impressed I am with Visiting Angels and especially Care Provider, Wendy. I watched my mom slowly disappear within herself for quite some time and it made me so sad knowing how lively, independent, creative, energetic, and funny my mom could be. In one text message Wendy made my mom's voice heard. Within 15 minutes of meeting Wendy and observing her interactions with my mom, I knew she was such a good fit for my parents. I see her pulling my mom out of hiding. I see my mom having more autonomy. I see my mom more willing to do her exercises. I see my mom more willing to try to do things for herself safely. I see Wendy tapping into my mom's creativity every chance she gets. But most importantly, I see my mom and I see her smiling again. Thank you Visiting Angels; but, specifically, thank you, Wendy for finding my mom again, allowing her voice to be heard as she intends it to be heard, and for doing such wonderful work with her (and the rest of our family). We know it's not easy as we are a large family -- each member having strong opinions and a lot of love for our mom. We appreciate you and notice significant changes for the better since you began working with our mom. The care you give is exemplary and has made a tremendous difference.

Visiting Angels has been such an amazing company to work with! The owners and staff have been so kind, understanding, and helpful through the whole process! They are very communicative and willing to help and work with you always!! They put the family and patient first and it is evident in their caregiving staff! Wendy specifically has been phenomenal!! She is a joy to be around and helps my parents enjoy life and the time she is with them! She is a hard worker and truly is passionate about the care she gives my parents. She helps them cook, do crafts, get outside, helps with medical appts, showering, companionship and so much more! She has brought a spark out in my mom that was fading for awhile, and works with her to cook and do crafts and laugh!! She is a true blessing to them and so is Visiting Angels!! Thank you for all you do and who you are to us, Wendy!

Visiting Angels of the Black Hills have been helping me since May 2025. I was just getting home from the hospital and rehab for back surgery. I had to use a walker to get around. Visiting Angels gave me Kimberly for three hours a day three days a week. Kim is a real angel. She could do anything I asked her to do. She even did windows. She did my laundry when it needed to get done. She cleaned and straightened the whole house. She helped me with any of the jobs I needed to get done. She helped keep the bird feeder filled. We built some steps and a platform to get up to a suet feeder for the birds. She would suggest things I could do to keep busy. Since I live at the Gold Mill which we closed a few years ago, could I teach some people how to pan for gold? I said I could. She invited a few people she knew to come one day last summer. They had fun learning to pan for gold. I told her in the 1960's I had done sound recording of a local band called the Kings of Strings. They played their music at different locations around the Black Hills. She told me there is a local band, the Carson Brown Band, that would be playing at the Chute Rooster that weekend. She invited me to go with her and her husband to listen to them. That brought back lots of memories. She invited me to go to the Christmas Eve service at her church. It was a good service. I have been very satisfied with the professional work all the Angels do every day.
