We were welcomed to use this space for a community dinner the day after Thanksgiving. What a beautiful thing, as these dinners are often held outside, even on the coldest of days. Bless these people and their kindness.

So, I'll preface this with South Dakota is a Constitutional Carry State. Very Pro Constitution. Unless, of course you're talking about this place. We don't really do anything there, my wife & I, other than shop at their little thrift store, and from time to time, they have a little flea market/rummage sale, which we also attend. HOWEVER, last trip there, I was approached by a mealy-mouth little man, who wouldn't identify himself, his role at the center, nothing. But told me I wasn't welcome there with my side arm on. That they didn't allow such weapons in their building. And to please leave. I asked where it was posted, and was told it wasn't, the issue had never come up before, but that's how it was. So, my wife & I left. I contacted the center by message on their web site. Explained everything, and never heard anything back. That was some weeks ago. So, if you're into authoritarianism, and bad attitudes, this is the place for you.

Thursday dances in the afternoon are fun. Great music to dance to and they serve a nice afternoon snack. Fun time.

My wife and I were so impressed with the Minneluzahan Senior Center that we joined as members. The people are very nice there, the activities to do there are numerous and the Thrift Store is full of treasures.

This is a senior center with activities and a nice thrift shop. However, they are not keeping seniors safe. There are no mask requirements and I heard the cashier at the thrift store telling people, everyone who came in the times I was there, not to get vaccinated! She was spreading lies about the vaccine to encourage people not to get it. Last week we were notified that there were five known cases of COVID-19 there. We are staying away.
