Visiting Angels of Leesburg was truly a blessing for our whole family. They took the time to really understand what we were dealing with, and the caregiver they matched with my father-in-law was just amazing — she genuinely cared. He's a veteran who battles PTSD daily, and there's just no way he could have kept living on his own as long as he did without their support. They were always flexable and never made us feel like adjusting things was a burden. VA billing and working with his social worker was handled smoothly too, which was a relief we weren't expecting. Can't recommend them enough.

In-home care is hard to figure out, and we were really nervous about it. My grandmom is 92, lives in Sterling, and suffers from mild dementia — so having someone reliable just means everything. She so looks forward to her caregiver coming. The Leesburg office has been easy to deal with (especially Rick) and they actually follow through on things, which we really appreciate. Would'nt hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

We’ve been with Visiting Angels for almost a year, and our caregiver has truly become part of our family. My wife’s Parkinson’s worsened over time, and while our caregiver started as a 'companion', the agency reassessed her needs and trained the same caregiver further—which made all the difference. My wife now needs help with both dressing and feeding, and our Angel handles everything with patience, kindness, and real compassion. She also drives her to doctor visits and even takes her to the local Safeway here in Middleburg - something my wife always enjoys—which means more than I can put into words. Because of her, I can manage daily life and still have peace of mind. I honestly don’t know what we’d do without her. We’re incredibly grateful.

When my aunt's dementia kept worsening, it was clear that we could not continue to provide the care she needed. Her incontinence issues were making things even more difficult for the family. That's when we contacted the Leesburg office of Visiting Angels. And boy are we glad we did. The 1st caregiver they sent was OK (not a great fit), but when we asked Sean for a replacement, they sent Julie who is an absolute gem. She didn't need any coaching from us; she knew what had to get done and did it well from day one! Julie made my aunt comfortable and took care of her until she passed, a few months later. We'll be forever grateful for the support she and Visiting Angels provided.

We were blessed to have a Personal Care Assistant visit my mom, twice a week, for a couple of hours each day. My mom benefitted mentally, physically, and emotionally. Mom physical space was neater since the PCA helped her clean her kitchen counter and dresser top items. My mom enjoyed getting to know someone new and having compassion for someone else, which pulled her out of only thinking about what happens in her condo. After a visit, or even the next day, Mom seemed more vibrant. This freed me to enjoy time with my mom by singing with her at the piano or other nice things we enjoy doing together. Visiting Angels' staff was kind, efficient, and affordable.
