From the very first time I reached out to Visiting Angels in Lancaster, I was incredibly impressed by how kind, patient, and genuinely caring everyone was! Even though I was only inquiring about services, every person I spoke with took the time to answer my questions thoroughly and made me feel like I was never just another phone call. The entire Lancaster office was welcoming, compassionate, and professional. It’s clear that they truly care about the families they serve and understand that reaching out for home care can be an emotional and overwhelming process. Visiting Angels of Lancaster was a godsend to me & my family. In early 2026, we realized my Grandma needed some extra care during the day. After gathering information on several agencies, they were who we chose. Unfortunately, Grandma soon ended up in the hospital & came home on Hospice at the end of February. Since we already had the care in place prior to her hospitalization, Grandma specifically requested Visting Angels at that time. Our care coordinator, Marilyn, was so kind & went above & beyond as we added more care days & some nights. ALL of the caregivers we had over the 3-4 months were AMAZING (I don't want to leave anyone out, so I won't name them). A couple of them became like family & we have formed bonds that I hope to continue for many years to come. The caregivers we had, loved my Grandma like she was their own & advocated for me & her when I wasn't sure what I was doing. They worked well alongside Hospice, helping the aides & nurses if asked. I would 1000% recommend them to everyone.

I coordinate care for my brother remotely from California, so finding a home care agency I could trust was critical. Visiting Angels of Lancaster County, PA exceeded every expectation. Marilyn, our care coordinator, has been outstanding for over a year. She arranged a complex multi-shift schedule - AM and PM caregivers, seven days a week - and matched us with excellent, reliable people. When we had unassigned shifts, she worked quickly to fill them, which matters enormously for a patient who cannot be left without coverage. What really set Visiting Angels apart was Marilyn's hands-on involvement beyond just scheduling. She visited my brother at St. Anne's Rehabilitation Center before his discharge and worked directly with the facility staff to understand his care needs, so the caregivers were prepared from day one. That kind of proactive coordination between a home care agency and a rehab facility is rare and made an enormous difference in a smooth transition home. Our caregivers have been professional, kind, and dependable throughout. For a family managing care from a distance, having a coordinator like Marilyn and a team you can trust is everything. I had a great experience getting hired here. Jina was incredibly understanding, patient, and graceful throughout the process, which really meant a lot to me.
