We are incredibly grateful for the exceptional care provided by Visiting Angels. As parents of two young children, balancing their constant needs along with the care of our aging loved one was becoming more challenging as his need for supervision and assistance increased. Visiting Angels gave us the peace of mind we desperately needed. We changed caretakers after our family member spent some time in the hospital and his needs increased. While both caretakers we've had are professional and kind, our most recent Angel has been just that in the most literal sense. She and our family member clicked instantly through shared experiences and interests, and they formed a true friendship through their time together. It's one thing to know that your loved one is being looked after, but to know that their VA caretaker is truly "filling their cup" with joy and connection is an incredible gift to his family members that wish they could be doing more to care for him themselves. Our Angel will forever be an extension of our family.
