About Parc Provence

Parc Provence is an assisted living and skilled nursing community in Creve Coeur, Missouri, specializing in memory care for residents with Alzheimer's and dementia across three levels of care based on functional ability.

Families consistently praise the physical environment, well-maintained grounds, clean rooms, and thoughtful household assignments that help residents form friendships. The community offers structured engagement through daily activities including live music twice daily, and families note that staff members in direct care roles often display genuine compassion. One family wrote, "These people will do anything to help." The facility appears designed with memory care expertise in mind, and families report satisfaction with personal hygiene and grooming standards.

However, reviews reveal significant operational concerns. Multiple families cite understaffing, particularly in higher-acuity units, with reports that residents are left unattended and staff prioritize housekeeping over resident supervision. Families also describe difficulty accessing management to discuss care concerns and medications. One family noted communication barriers around end-of-life care; another raised concerns about diversity and inclusion among residents and staff. A small number of families reported negative interactions with care and administrative staff.

Parc Provence holds a 4.0 rating across 34 Google reviews. While the facility's design and grounds attract families, care quality and administrative responsiveness appear inconsistent, with strong reviews often tempered by serious staffing and communication issues.

I was searching for a facility for my Mother for when that time comes & after finding Parc Provence through a Google Search & researching what they offered, I decided to visit & take a full tour of the property & all of its facilities.
I was pleasantly surprised & a lil' overwhelmed at how beautiful it was. I was not expecting anything close to what I viewed.
The grounds were well manicured with beautiful flowers throughout the property.
There was a Doorman waiting to greet me before I entered & once I did, it was a very warm, cozy, classic & beautiful interior with an abundance of antique furniture & collectible historic memorabilia throughout.
The Staff was very cheerful & pleasant & I was impressed to learn that most of the Staff were "longtimers" meaning that they had been working at the property for 10+yrs.
The actual Living Quarters were roomy & spacious & I liked that they came with some furniture already in them, but U could also furnish ur own space. The Kitchens were very contemporary & up to date.
I liked that they had numerous activities for the residents to get involved in & they even have outside activities come to the property for the residents to engage with (Ex: Botanical Gardens, St. Louis Zoo, etc...).
Their were 2 things that really stood out to me #1. U are allowed to visit anytime & #2. They have Doctors On Call 24/7(very impressive).
I noticed on my visit that the residents truly looked engaged & like they really enjoyed the place & the Staff seemed to treat the residents with respect & like family or a special guest.
U didn't see residents walking around or sitting-looking like zombies from being over medicated. U didn't see residents being ignored or treated like they didn't exist.
Parc Provence is a well maintained & managed, Privately Owned facility & they take pride in their properties & the residents who live there. If all facilities were as accommodating & well managed & maintained for Aging Seniors, society & this world overall would be a much better place!!
They have numerous amenities for the residents like a Gym, Happy Hour that serves Ice Cream & Popcorn, Beauty Salon where U can get ur hair & nails done. They even have a Garden where the residents can pick their own veggies. Every room has a view. The property & construction was well thought out.
If I had any issues it would only be that it is a lil' tricky & difficult finding & getting to the facility, but once U find it, U will not regret it & for everything that Parc Provence offers its residents I would honestly say that it is reasonable especially when U consider many facilities who don't offer 1/2 of what Parc Provence does yet charge almost twice as much.
Parc Provence gives U the best of both world's, Quantity & Quality!!!

Moving my mom to Parc Provence was such a smooth transition and a very positive experience for someone with memory issues.

Outstanding community. Parc Provance was clearly built specifically for memory care purposes by professional who are experts in the condition. Meticulous housekeeping, live music twice a day, balanced meals and most importantly, compassionate staff (who my mom says, “I love it here. These people will do anything to help).” Think that sums it up! Our parents were in another community for exactly one year prior to moving them to Parc Provance, and the difference is remarkable in their care and quality of life. We are sorry that we didn’t move them sooner. I’ve never seen a bad brochure, and often times advertising campaigns disappoint when compared to the reality of care and services provided. That is not the case at Parc Provance. The community is even better than the brochure. Every staff member providing direct care to residents is licensed which is important in deeming competent, consistent and quality care. It’s the best in memory care without any competition in my opinion and the US News & World Report memory care rankings. Have referred friends to the community and our parents continue to be well cared for and extremely happy at Parc Provance!
