Let me start by saying that I’m an RN that worked in the operating room. I have not worked in a facility such as Vintage but the care here is subpar. I would never recommend this facility to anyone. My father was placed here for rehab post surgery. He was dealing with dementia and Parkinson’s prior to the surgery. We were concerned for his post op care and made the educated decision to place him in rehab. This was the worst mistake. He had trouble feeding himself, wore diapers, and couldn’t walk post surgery. Vintage did not help offer him food or fluids. I know a patient can refuse things but we have it on camera that it was not offered. He lost over 20lbs in two weeks and became severely dehydrated with acute kidney injury from the dehydration. This reduced his kidney function by 70%. After that we moved him and placed him on hospice. Let me make it clear that his quality of life prior to surgery was declining however he was still able to walk, eat slowly, enjoy some of his favorite drinks, and enjoy time with family. He has since passed and I feel Vintage accelerated his medical decline. I know it was coming naturally but they are to blame for the accelerated timeline of his death. Please protect your loved ones from this facility.

This was the worst care that I have seen ever! My ex-husband was there for rehab post total shoulder. He had dementia and Parkinson’s. He walked into the hospital to have the surgery but never walked again after entering this facility. The first night my ex- husband was there he had messed his sheets. The sheets were placed in a corner of the room and the tech said they had no more sheets. My son was with him. The tech asked my son if he wanted her to put them back on the bed even though they were contaminated!!! Keep in mind he had just had surgery! My son said no. We had a meeting with the administrator and all higher up staff in each department the next day. They asked us to give them a chance to make it right. It only got worse. We had a camera in the room and his dinner was delivered but sat across the room. He was unable to walk and had trouble feeding himself. The staff came in an hour later and took the food away. No one bothered to feed him. No one gave him any liquids. When I went to visit him he was in the dining room and no one was around to help him eat. He had a small bag of IV fluid on a pole attached to him. He looked like skin and bones. I asked to speak to the nurse. The nurse could not answer my questions. His answer was that he didn’t know anything since he came from another floor. I guess they don’t give each other report. I spoke with PT and they were not behabing him - he was refusing. I said have you reported to my daughter. Answer was no! I told my kids to get him out of there that he was dying. They made plans to move him home the following Saturday, however, the facility took him to the ER. After assessing him, he was in kidney failure and was severely dehydrated. The staff got him well enough to go home. He had to come by ambulance since he could no longer walk. We put him on hospice and a couple of weeks later found another nursing home that could care for him. Unfortunately he died after a few weeks there. This was only a highlight of what happened. Vintage staff kept him in a wheelchair all day. Not sure how they changed his diaper since he had no colon and urinated in it. I turned them in for neglect with the state but they found nothing! DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONE THERE! BTW I am a retired nurse and there are big issues at this place!

The staff is consistently kind, compassionate, and professional, and they truly care about the people they serve. It’s clear they work hard to create a welcoming and supportive environment.

We ultimately chose another facility only because a room unexpectedly became available elsewhere and we were under a very tight timeline. Otherwise, Vintage Health Care Center would have been our choice.<br><br>I reached out to Alex around 9:00 PM, fully expecting to hear back the next day, but she responded almost immediately. She arranged a tour for us the very next day, and from the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcome.<br><br>Alex took the time to show us the entire facility, introduced us to the different department heads, and answered every question we had with patience and compassion. She never made us feel rushed or pressured, and her warmth and professionalism made what could have been a very overwhelming process feel much more manageable.<br><br>While I can't personally speak to the experience of having a loved one as a resident, I can absolutely speak to the exceptional experience we had during the admissions process. The facility was clean, welcoming, and everyone we met was friendly and engaged. If you're looking for a place that makes families feel heard, valued, and supported from the very first interaction, I would absolutely recommend scheduling a tour with Alex.

I was there for a month,the staff was really great.they treated me with kindness and respect.when my meals were wrong they went out of their way to correct it
