Trimika, Tamara, Kathy, Bella, thank you all for the care and concern you showed to my mother over the months she lived there.

Went to do a tour of the facility 9/6/25 with family and my mom (the client) and just walking to the entrance we did not have a good feeling about the facility. Front porch entrance decor was thrown on ground and pillows all over. Ac and windows were old and rusted. The intercom was "on" from the outside and we could hear loud static, banging and talking coming from inside the building. We rang the doorbell 4x and no answer. We had to knock loudly 3x and then a frazzled young woman came to the door finally. We sat and discussed our main top requirements and she was the new sales manager.. of Both North and South facilities. She did not have much info at all. Kept saying "Im not sure of that but I can ask someone" (Is she the one to ask?!? :/ ) Other workers interrupted her during our meeting also not knowing where things were. The staff all seems to do 2 or 3 different jobs which is not a good look. Transportation and outings for residents are only 1 day a week and ONLY if someone is available to drive. ?!? For $4500 a month, the amenities are verryy bad in our opinion compared to other Denton facilities and we will keep searching for better well managed, friendly and clean facility. We felt uncomfortable and didn't even take the tour and left. Visit at your own risk. Would Not recommend.

My Mother had a stroke that caused Dementia. The first place we went after the stroke was horrific. This is a level B assisted living facility. My mother had many problems when moving in both with memory and anxiety. The staff have been good about taking her specific issues into account and working to help her be her best self. After the previous facility she had trust issues and was easily scared. In less than a year they have helped her to feel safe and comfortable. Her language skills and anxiety have massively improved. Management has been incredibly responsive to questions and concerns that are brought up. The staff are friendly and seem to really care about helping. This place has been a God send for both me and my Mother. She feels safe, and I feel like she's safe. We both sleep better at night knowing that she's in good hands.

I toured this facility for my mom. I was extremely surprised with how clean and tidy the rooms and hallways were. The staff were friendly, and very knowledgeable about what happens and how to go about the care for each resident. Upper management was open and detailed about how care is provided, and what to expect. I ended up choosing this facility over the others. Mom is doing awesome!

The staff at Brookdale Denton North have been very welcoming and attentive to Mom since she arrived. She likes having her own room and the food is great most days. She get's out and walks around the building most days and attends the exercise classes. I think her interaction with others in the dining room and around the building has certainly helped her both physically and mentally.
