My fiance was there for a few days and was not treated well at all. I had to, many times, get after the nursing staff for not responding to his calls. On one occasion, he was in so much pain, yet his calls were ignored until I intervened. Their response was very degrading. He was later taken to the ER while suffering so much pain that he ended up having a heart attack upon arrival and went into a coma for 5 days. I do not trust this place and would not recommend it to my worst enemy.

I was very disappointed and appalled at the bad attitude of the woman at the reception desk. We had a scheduled facility tour and she didn't greet us, smile or acknowledge us. She guards the door button like a hawk and has complete ownership over it. The facility quoted us $4400/mo for an empty room. I had no idea we would be responsible to furnish the room. The charge nurse is an LVN and their services offered were bismal. Though we can afford it, we would never choose this place.

Horrible place! “Nurses” are so inhumane. The first day my mother stayed she fell and hit her head 3 times due to no one assisting her after continuously pressing the button for help to go to the restroom. When they found her on the floor they did nothing to her just lay her back down. Next day she was vomiting in her bed choking with her own vomit and no one would go help, she had to stand up by herself to go to the restroom. They went in and only said you are not supposed to stand by yourself but no one would go when she would call them. Reported this instance and was only told we are a rehab center not a hospital. Understandable point of view what’s not understandable is being so inhumane. You decided to be a nurse and provide assistance for people in need. They denied me staying with her so I could help her. Do not know how this place continues to be open with such a horrible staffing.

I had a very unpleasant experience with one of the nursing staff upon my mother’s admission. My mother suffers from mental health and she is also coping with stage four cancer. While I understand my mother’s mental health is challenging to work with at times, it is important staff have the patience, understanding, and passion to really want to help those in need. Our family goal was to have mom back home after a short stay in which our hope was she received the best care to get her strong again to keep fighting cancer. Mom has been through a difficult seven months in this journey and despite her mental health, she has been a strong fighter. I was present to help bring safety, comfort and stability to my mom for her first night’s stay in an unfamiliar place. Unfortunately, we did not receive a warm greeting. I felt my mother was stigmatized and labeled without giving her a chance to familiarize herself with a new environment. I felt I was dismissed as her daughter and as the person who was there to talk to staff about my mother and her care. I left the facility feeling more defeated in a fight that has already been extremely difficult for mom and I. I learned that this place is not a place for mom and not a help to me or my family as we try to navigate our lives and also care for her. As an advocate for mental health awareness and a mental health professional, I speak on behalf of my mom and I: Please take the time to train staff on mental health awareness and sensitivity. In a world that is already confusing for them, they just need empathy, patience and most importantly compassion. 💚

Thank you to all the staff at Vibralife for taking such excellent care and having compassion for my uncle who was 102 years old. I have nothing but good things to say about all the staff and care you all provided.
