The attached picture is my DINNER at the Verena at Bedford Falls. I had ordered a Bedford Salad which has a scoop of egg salad, tuna salad, and chicken salad, on lettuce and asked if I could also get a grilled cheese sandwich. I was brought the grilled cheese sandwich for my dinner and was told I couldn't have both. No one advised me or asked me which I wanted, IF I couldn't have both. So, as we pay $6,325 per month, my dinner tonight was a greasy sandwich. The right thing should have been for the cook staff to "ask which item I wanted, in order for me to have a nutritious dinner".

My mother was a resident at Verena at Bedford Falls for four years and then just recently had to move to assisted living. The apartments at Verena are beautiful- large and very up to date. Verena is very clean and well maintained. There are many, many great activities to choose from. You can be busy every day if you so choose! What always makes a place is the staff and a shout out to Alison, Mary and the wonderful Karen. These staff members are so helpful and kind. A special compliment to Nikki in housekeeping and Pam who are amazing and a wonderful asset to the community. If you are looking for an Independent Living Community in the North Raleigh area, go visit Verena!

My mom lives there. Well maintained and very nicely laid out apartments, and a nice gym and pool. That said, the food choices are very limited and not that tasty. It makes the daily living there a bit of bummer. Good tasting food is very important element for a senior living community but I believe they are working on it.

My mom was a resident there and had a wonderful experience. Everyone ( staff and residents) are so kind and caring. Her health was declining and so many people reached out to make sure she was doing ok. Our family is so grateful to the entire staff and all her fellow residents. Those extra hugs, kind words and fellowship meant the world to her and her family.

My Father was at Verena for almost 2 years before we had to relocate out of North Carolina. In those 2 years, I found Verena to be a very comfortable and caring place for my Father to call home. The facility is beautiful and well maintained. It is also in a very safe and peaceful area. The staff is EXCEPTIONAL and truly care about the resident's needs. Overall, I can't say enough positive comments about Verena and also can't imagine my Father living anywhere else while in the Raleigh area.
