I lived here for a short time. Do not put your family member or yourself here. There are fights, drug use , alcohol use, shut downs, elevators don't work, homeless people coming in the bldg showering and using drugs, street people living with residents, dry wall dust falling from apt ceilings into your apt , the management does not care or try to fix any pf these problems , they only there for a paycheck and dont have to live there . The food is another story in itself ! The care staff are late coming to help you . I can list a million other things .

What a great place. My friend and I had the opportunity to tour the faciilty.Everyone seemed really nice Its very clean and welcoming. I was really impressed.

Impossible to reach over the phone, called every number and just cannot get through to anybody. I cant imagine not being able to contact the staff when I have family over there. Its such a simple thing to fix but they havent done anything about it for a long time

Van Vista is not typically in many people’s idea of where they expect to be for our “golden years” I don’t think. That being said, It is a good, clean, decent respectful place to be, also comfortable as well. I like it here. With no family around, it has been a great place to go once my Mama passed away.
