Our family had a deeply disappointing experience with this facility regarding their long-term care policies. Leading up to our decision, we were explicitly led to believe that the facility would accommodate my father long-term by being proactive as he neared Medicaid eligibility.Unfortunately, this was not the case. It was only due to a follow-up conversation—which we initiated—that we discovered they had no intention of keeping him. By this point, the vast majority of his private funds had already been spent. Had we not proactively requested this update, the facility would have allowed him to completely spend down his assets, leaving him with no financial resources and severely limited care options.If you are looking for financial transparency, clear communication, and a trustworthy partnership for your loved one's long-term future, I strongly advise looking elsewhere.

From the time my parents moved to Van Dyk Park Place nearly 10 years ago, and throughout my father's long illness, I have always felt nothing but kindness and support from the administration and staff. When my father eventually passed, the love and attention given to my mother was extraordinary in every way. She continues to live a happy life here, and I have such peace of mind knowing she is treated like family, with the utmost respect and care. I have nothing but praise for Van Dyk Park Place!

My aunt has been at Van Dyk Park Place for over 11 years. She continually receives excellent health care and social interaction. The staff is kind and supportive. It's apparent how much they care about each resident. I'm thrilled that my aunt has found a joyful and caring home. I wholeheartedly recommend the community.

Van Dyk is a great place. Staff is very responsive and comforting to my husband. The place is bright and so clean. The food is wonderful . The activities are varied. I’m so glad I chose Van Dyk.

Dear Van Dyk Family,<br><br>What you all do for my mother and for all of the residents is truly heart warming and inspiring.<br><br>My mother is so full of life, so happy, not a care in the world, living her best life with her Van Dyk family!<br><br>She used to be in theatre and singing competitions when she was young, and you all have given her a sense of that back. From the Rock-n-Roll concerts, to holiday fun, to the activities staff, caregivers, nurses, receptionists, chefs and every single member of your residence, you all exude such high energy, love and dedication. My mother’s spirit is truly uplifted because of you. That love can’t be matched anywhere else!<br><br>I know she is happy, healthy and safe ❤️.<br><br>A thousand times over, thank you for being such special souls 🙏.
