Didn't help my uncle who was recovering from addiction to alcohol and some other health issues. Was put in this rehab when Lakeland Regional stabilized him but he was week couldnt stand alone or feed himself due to the shakes. This facility would not hand feed him or give him fluids. My 85yr grandma 2as going up there twice a day to feed him. Also they cant put rails on bed due to legalities, kinda like holding someone against will or some crap. Well he fell out of bed and was found next morning he would open his eyes but was not talking or being responsive he went back to hospital with loss of blood and had a transfusion which gave him some kind of super bug and he died. Not all people are out to help some just want money and ride the clock. Always ask question and watch your loved ones

Got to visit with Suzanne in the dining room on Christmas afternoon with quite a few patients present. Suzanne knew me and we conversed for 30 minutes or so and discussed what she seemed to feel comfortable doing. Left telling her that I would return. Everything was clean and when one patient became noisy, staff appeared and assisted him out of the room. This was totally appropriate.

Personally, would like for CNAs in dining room of memory care unit NOT play violent or disruptive shows on the TV. Those people start to feel like they're part of that and get very agitated. Otherwise good food and caring service. Should find more friendly area for patients to wait as dining room is cleaned. Maybe the back TV room?

Our experience with Valencia has been nothing short of excellent. The staff is the heart of this facility—skilled, compassionate, and always attentive to residents’ needs. From day one, we felt welcomed and supported. There’s consistently enough staff on hand, and their dedication shows in everything they do—from timely care to kind, everyday interactions. Communication with families is also strong, keeping us informed and reassured. Knowing our loved one is cared for by such capable and caring professionals gives us real peace of mind. We’re incredibly thankful for the team at Valencia and highly recommend them.
