Being a daughter & also the caregiver to my mom (who I also consider one of my best friends) it was a hard to finally admit I needed extra help to insure her safety and her well-being (mine as well). She was falling more often & her dementia was advancing. I knew in my heart after her last fall it was time to look into assisted living for my mom.<br><br>I can honestly say when it comes to assisted & memory care places they are all very different. I wasn't taking the decision to move my mom into one lighty and I was determined to find the right place that fit her needs & that she would be cared for when I couldn't be there with her. So my search began .. visiting & researching 14 different places. When I 1st toured Trustwell Living at Kingswood Place it just felt right and checked off all the boxes on my list of must be or have.<br>I still thou visted others to make sure. I came back & toured it again (3x to be exact) Each time in my heart it felt like this is the place for my mom.<br><br>I can say without a doubt I picked the perfect place to move my mom into. The staff is amazing!! They welcomed my mom in with open arms and have showed her so much kindness & care. The other residents have also welcomed her and she has already made friends with several of them. There are plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy (I have even joined in on some of the activities & have had a great time) and the food is delicious.<br>Not only do they care for the residents who live there but they show the same kindness to the families as well.<br>Kingswood Place is so much more than an assisted care facility ... it is like home and everyone in a short period of time has become one big family.<br><br>I can't thank Caralee, Donna, Cherie and Karla enough for all you have done to assist myself and my mom!!<br><br>So if you are looking for assisted care for your loved one I highly recommend Trustwell Living at Kingswood Place!!

Let me tell you about this disturbing place... It's horrendous!!!! It reeks of urine, the residents looked unkept, and I overheard them treating one of their staff members horribly. I was absolutely shocked and disgusted! I wouldn't put my worst enemy in this place!! BEWARE!!!

The staff is wonderful with my (88 yr old) mom. From Jackie to Caralee and new director Cherie all the way through the staff, they genuinely care and are very quick to address any concerns.<br><br>I feel like they go above and beyond to keep an eye on my mom, checking on her throughout the day, making sure she’s heading down for breakfast lunch or dinner, as well as activities she may be missing.<br><br>This facility is easy for my mom to navigate, which was a concern bc she is still somewhat reliant on her walker. If she stays walking long enough in the hallway, she’ll make it back to her apartment-ha… no elevators, or twisting hallways to help her lose her way.<br><br>I was very concerned about putting my mom in an assisted living facility, and after looking at others, I’m very glad I chose Trustwell. My mom was not excited about going into assisted , but after a couple months, this feels like home to her.<br><br>In the end , that’s about all I can ask for.. thank you Trustwell for taking care of my mom.<br><br>Tony M.

Arizona asks us to share this with you in writing before we introduce you to a community.

MyLivingChoice is a free service that helps you find senior living. We are paid by our participating communities: if you move into a community we introduced you to, that community pays us a referral fee. You never pay us anything.

We do have a current business relationship but we do not have a common ownership or control in, or any other financial, business, management or familial relationship with, any of the assisted living homes and assisted living facilities to which we are referring you.

If you terminate our services, we will not be entitled to any fee for any move-in you make after the date of the termination notice unless either:

2. You communicate with us before you move into the assisted living facility or assisted living home.
