Being a daughter & also the caregiver to my mom (who I also consider one of my best friends) it was a hard to finally admit I needed extra help to insure her safety and her well-being (mine as well). She was falling more often & her dementia was advancing. I knew in my heart after her last fall it was time to look into assisted living for my mom.<br><br>I can honestly say when it comes to assisted & memory care places they are all very different. I wasn't taking the decision to move my mom into one lighty and I was determined to find the right place that fit her needs & that she would be cared for when I couldn't be there with her. So my search began .. visiting & researching 14 different places. When I 1st toured Trustwell Living at Kingswood Place it just felt right and checked off all the boxes on my list of must be or have.<br>I still thou visted others to make sure. I came back & toured it again (3x to be exact) Each time in my heart it felt like this is the place for my mom.<br><br>I can say without a doubt I picked the perfect place to move my mom into. The staff is amazing!! They welcomed my mom in with open arms and have showed her so much kindness & care. The other residents have also welcomed her and she has already made friends with several of them. There are plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy (I have even joined in on some of the activities & have had a great time) and the food is delicious.<br>Not only do they care for the residents who live there but they show the same kindness to the families as well.<br>Kingswood Place is so much more than an assisted care facility ... it is like home and everyone in a short period of time has become one big family.<br><br>I can't thank Caralee, Donna, Cherie and Karla enough for all you have done to assist myself and my mom!!<br><br>So if you are looking for assisted care for your loved one I highly recommend Trustwell Living at Kingswood Place!!
