Therapy was good, The rest of the services were not so much especially the food. Never ate 1 full meal. Never knew who my nurses were even after being there for 2wks. Even though the NP said she was going to see me after her first visit she never came back.

When I was in this place recovering then. Many years later after the place saved to keep my kidney. Thankfully now I have been able to donate blood with doctors approval. Thank you all for who helped kept me alive.... Celebrated my 60th birthday today. Not sure if you're still open due to changes in the years.

My husband spent about 3.5 months in this faculty before passing due to cancer. He started on the short term side then moved to the long term care side. Everyone there was incredibly nice and tried their best to support him and us through the process of everything. Tough conversations had to be done. Those weren't fun to have but they tried to approach delicate topics with care, patience, and compassion. Naturally, no where is perfect. My husband was of sound mind and would complain about little things but who doesn't complain especially when life was looking bleak. He never complained about anything where I needed to escalate it. I wish I could remember everyone's name to shout out individually but I don't. But from the people who opened the door to the CNAs to the nurses to the admin and directors everyone was great. I truly appreciate this place.

We’ve had multiple stays at TruCare, and overall I do appreciate that the facility itself is consistently clean. I’ve noticed improvement over time, in the past there were more issues with hygiene, but during this most recent stay, I only had one instance where my husband was not clean, which is an improvement. However, there are still some concerns that need to be addressed. During this most recent discharge, he was returned home with a significant amount of stool left in the creases of his legs. By the following day, he was already showing clear signs of a possible infection, which later progressed into a full UTI. Situations like this are very concerning, as proper hygiene is critical to preventing infections. We have also had repeated issues with personal belongings not being returned. During a previous stay, I brought several supplements for him, and although he was receiving them, some, including a more expensive Lion’s Mane supplement, could not be found at discharge. This most recent stay, I brought two supplements again, and he did not receive them at all, and neither bottle was returned. I made sure to label everything clearly with his name, so it is very frustrating that items continue to go missing. We have also had clothing go missing, even though I take the time to label his clothes. That adds to the frustration, as it feels like those efforts don’t make a difference. These may seem like small things, but they are not. The supplements help him stay more regulated and less confused, and hygiene directly impacts his health and risk of infection. Overall, I do see some improvements in care, but better attention to hygiene, personal belongings, and following through on what is provided for patients would make a significant difference. **UPDATE** As stated, when I picked my husband up from this facility on Monday, by the very next day (Tuesday), he was extremely sick. His mental status had changed significantly, which is a known sign for him when something is wrong, so I took him to the hospital. He was diagnosed with a severe UTI and ended up being hospitalized for 10 days. When I picked him up, he was in unacceptable condition. He had stool in the creases of his legs and in his pull-up. I had to bathe him myself before we could even leave the facility. This is basic care that should have been handled by staff. Because of this infection and hospitalization, any small progress he made in rehab was completely lost. He became weak again and had to start over. This means we paid for services that ultimately did not benefit him. Overall, this experience was unacceptable. Not only was it a waste of time and money, but it directly impacted his health and led to a preventable hospitalization.
