This place use to be a very nice place, under new direction the moral has gone down. There is a new director that talks to staff horribly. Since she’s been there a lot of staff that’s been the backbone of facility have quit because of her attitude. Looking to find my dad another facility to go to as we speak.

We have had my 98 year-old mom at Silvertree in Schertz for over a year and have been really satisfied…from Kraig and Donna in Admin, to the regular staff, Dominique, Dee, Maryann, Kay, Yoyo and Anita, to the great chef Jeffrey. I’m sure I forgot others but thank you all for all you are doing for our mom.

This place is awful. I would give it negative stars if I could. My dad was supposed to be getting rehab everyday not once did I ever see them take him they claim he was being taken but came different times through out the day and never saw it and due to my dads mental state he was not able to let us know. He literally sat in his bed all day sleeping and they rarely checked on him mind you they knew he was a fall risk that’s why he was there . One time I walked in and he had fallen over because he wasn’t strong enough to sit himself up and he couldn’t reach the call button to ask for help who knows how long he would have been there if we didn’t show up. He fell another night trying to go to the restroom by himself and he cut open his face and when we asked if we should take him to get stitches they said it’s not that bad. We went first then in the morning to check on him and not only didn’t look much worse then they said yes he did need stitches. Oh not to mention he was there for 5 days and they never gave him a bath/shower they kept saying he was going to get one the next day that never happened we would clean him up ourselves using the sink and wipes. We knew he never got one because he would be in the same clothes until we helped clean him up. Do not bring your family members here especially if they can’t tell you what is going on. They would only come and check on the patients when they would see me and my family coming in because they knew how we rolled and we had another patient tell us this. She said they only go into the rooms to ask for help if family members were there if not they never checked on them.
