The story no-one believes. I walked my dog and slipped on black ice breaking my femur. My wife opened our front door and slipped on our black ice covered landing and broke her femur.Two ambulances- surgery and 17 day rehab and then they sent us home where we lived alone. I was referred to Trubute Home Care the day prior to leaving rehab where Chelsea Hancock listened to our needs and was able to staff 2 twelve hour shifts of Home Care Aides. We could do nothing on our own other than sit on recliners and walk?? with walkers. We were in trouble but when we arrived home the day we were released at 5pm, we were greeted by our aide who took care of our needs, fed us, gave us medicine and put us to bed. Every aide sent to us was spectacular beyond belief but two earned a place in our hearts - Yolene was our 7am to 7pm and Vera our 7pm to 7am the majority of the time. Tribute Home Care has provided my dad with the best care team we could have imagined. From day 1 our care team has been professional, responsive, and so generous and caring. Each member of our care team has shown so much respect to dad that they have become like members of our family and we could not do without them. Tribute has been providing care for my elderly parents for 2+ years and I am so incredibly grateful for the amazing care they have received. I recently had the opportunity to work with Tribute Home Care and found each person I connected with extremely helpful. From the first phone call to the final one completing the ending of care as the client passed. Each member of the team explained what their role was, along with bridging to the next team member. Then, if something was to have been completed, i.e., staffing for the following shift, I received a call back to confirm. I cannot say enough good things about this team that worked seamlessly! My client, who lived in Florida, was at their summer home north and became gravely ill. I contacted a professional colleague who recommended Tribute Home Care. I called and they immediately connected, providing caregivers at the hospital, and continued to keep me in the loop, as my client was having significant issues. Their staff was professional, competent, and excellent communicators. I wish that there were a branch in Florida! Thank you for providing such great care! My family's experience with Tribute has been wonderful. The caregivers who have supported my elderly parents have been respectful, conscientious, friendly, and kind. And communicating with Tribute for scheduling and other issues has been very easy. I recently reached out to them with an urgent request with limited turnaround time, and they were able to accommodate me quickly. As someone who lives far away from my parents, Tribute has given me a lot of peace of mind. I can't recommend them highly enough!
