As I read through the reviews it really saddens me, to know that my experience at Nazareth was so terribly bad and to see other people have a shared experience of bad service, rudeness, filthy room and disgusting behavior from staff should be embarrassing for a hospital. I came in very ill into the emergency room and received good care, had to have emergency surgery that left me with an open wound in the back of my upper thigh, 9 1/2 inches deep. At first I couldn't ambulate and needed much assistance to use the restroom, the CNA's were absolutely amazing, but the nurses was AWFUL. The times I urinated on the floor, was stuck in the bathroom because I needed assistance was embarrassing. I thought I was down the hall from the nurses station to only find out days later that it was right there. The fact that I was there from Tuesday until Friday before I even washed my body, no one offered to assist before I asked to wash up. The nurse ripping tape off my wound, my room needing a paint job, me ringing the nurses bell and could hear them right outside my room and no one even coming in to see if I was ok, talking to the nursing supervisor, them calling security on me and one of the "security team" being the Nurse that was in my room the day before who stuck me 10x trying to find my vein. They called security after me being stuck in the bathroom waiting for assistance for 10 minutes, to get back into the bed and to find my CNA sitting at the computer and making every excuse as to why she never came I to the room, to being discharged with no supplies to care for wound until I went to wound care, to a mix up with wound care (but the Wound Care unit took GREAT care of me, only to find out they were contracted), I was so afraid of getting an infection, but thank God the wound care team was so great I'm healed, but was bed bound for 5 months!

Just got back from this er. The best thing i can say is that i really liked my nurse. she was very kind and understanding. but everything else was below subpar. i was prescribed a certain medication and was only given 5 pills(needed to take them 3 times daily??) and when i called and asked about getting more pills the person on the phone was NASTY. I tried to explain that i don’t have a primary to prescribe me more at the moment and they cut me off and said i needed to look at my paperwork and check my insurance card. so utterly rude for no reason. i cannot fathom how you can work in health care and have no sympathy or kindness. do better
