We had our Mom who suffers from mild dementia in Memory care for a total of two months. I am a retired nurse. This is the most mismanaged, pathetic excuse of a facility that I’ve ever experienced. It is not the staffs fault that there was no direction, no communication and lack of knowledge. This all comes from good management. It is non existent. A live and learn experience.

My parents moved to memory care at the Trails of Orono from Florida. The staff was extremely cooperative and helpful with the transition. My mom has since moved to assisted living and is involved in games and exercise classes. The location is so peaceful, almost in its own nature preserve. The staff is wonderful, they care and respect their residents. The facility is clean and well maintained and my mom loves the meals. Our family is very happy with the Trails of Orono

My mom and dad moved into the Trails of Orono in August 2025. The staff were so warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, my father passed away since that time. Everyone here has been so caring and helpful to us at every step along the way. There are wonderful activities and the building is kept very neat clean. I highly recommend the Trails of Orono.

My parents have been at Trails of Orono for almost 4 years. In October at age 90, we lost my Father and between the Nursing Staff at Trails, North Memorial Hospice and the dedicated care teams, he had great care.
Life Spark purchased Trails and they are doing well with the transition. Trails has many great staff, many are like family to us and they do their best to make Seniors happy and feel cared for. We are so grateful for the loving people who choose to care for our aging Seniors, such a hard job.
We always feel welcomed at Trails and look forward to seeing our favorite staff members, like Fanny and Romina, Nick and Ryan, Jenny, Joyce, Hadi and Yahta. Makeala works hard to provide activities and fun for the residents and the hard working food service staff, is so accommodating and kind, afraid I have missed some wonderful staff members but we so appreciate you all!
I feel like any issues are addressed in as timely manner as possible too.
Mom is struggling to transition from married to single it's hard after being married for 67 years, we are trying to help her and I feel the staff is trying to help her through that too.
We look forward to continued good care and the upcoming remodeling at Trails of Orono will be a fun transition, although we love the way it is now too!
