We stumbled upon Touching Hearts after having had extremely negative experiences hiring nurse’s aides elsewhere. The individuals they sent to assist with our mother were skilled, kind and responsible. Where we had specific concerns we were always able to contact the agency at any time of day to confer with Starr or Sarah. I have no reservations in recommending Touching Hearts highly. Without any doubt should the need arise we would contact them again.

We have been using Touching Hearts for more than 2 years. They have been great about scheduling excellent caregivers. If our regular person will be out, they call with a replacement. And when we need extra coverage, they have also been very good about scheduling that.

Touching Hearts at Home NYC came through beautifully for me in an emergency situation. I needed elder care as fast as possible - a few incidents had made that suddenly clear to me - and Starr Weisenberg was sympathetic and helpful and FAST in finding Shirley Booth for us. I absolutely recommend Shirley. She was so conscientious and good-humored. She not only got her charge to his doctor and social appointments on time, but she brightened his day. His mood lifted after their long walks (both with and without his small dog). Apparently, they had such a good time over a pizza lunch that the restaurant owner was inspired to give them the pizza for free! We will miss her and are forever thankful to have had her help at such a crucial moment.

We have been served by Touching Hearts for nearly three years and are delighted with the care we have received. The providers have been kind, caring, and reliable. The office has provided replacements when needed with no disruption of service, which is very important and helpful. We recommend Touching Hearts with much appreciation and admiration.

Touching Hearts was an incredible support for my 95-year-old mom, who has never been easy to please. The team was professional, compassionate, and truly dedicated, but our favorite aide was Verika. She was a lovely woman—so kind, patient, and genuinely caring. Despite my mom’s initial resistance to having help, Verika won her over with her warmth and gentle approach. Knowing my mom was in such good hands gave me tremendous peace of mind. I highly recommend Touching Hearts to anyone looking for reliable and compassionate care for their loved one!
