I was recently having coffee with my husband at a local venue when an elderly woman came in with her companion from Touching Hearts. The interaction between the two could best be described as ‘more authentic, more heartwarming and even more sincere than any commercial I’ve seen from any company providing these services’. I was so moved by how absolutely present she was with the woman in her care, I told the caregiver that she was the most incredible ambassador for the whole caregiving industry. I’ve spent the past eight years immersed in researching, vetting and advocating for care and services for my parents. During that time, and currently, I have observed several scenarios with a wide variety of caregiving providers and sadly, I’ve never seen caregiving like this, not to this exceptional standard. This caregiver was the epitome of ‘character can be defined by doing the right thing when no one is watching…’ What I witnessed was so beautiful, I also called Touching Hearts’ HR department to make sure they knew what an exceptional ambassador and treasure of an employee they had. If your family needs this kind of KIND support, I recommend you contact them, too.

One of the very best services in the Boston Metro area. It is the high quality of their professional caregivers and the excellent leadership from top to bottom of this organization that sets it head and shoulders above the rest. Over several years, my father experienced worsening cognitive decline, which eventually overwhelmed my mother’s ability to care for him. After some false starts with other services, we found Touching Hearts. At the time, the owners were intimately involved with onboarding my family. It was clear from the start that this was not merely a business for them but rather a calling, which is why they have created a rare organizational culture of profound compassion and superb professional performance. Kerry and Dom were game changer for us. Kerry was the nerve center of TH. It is difficult to describe the combination of heart and expertise Kerry embodies. She is the rare kind of leader who can be intimately involved in the details of a case while also able to stand back and above managing teams and operations. Kerry’s commitment to her profession is humbling. When it was better for my parents to move into an assisted living facility, my mother was resistant. It was Kerry who turned her fear into positive motivation making the transition smooth. More than a year after ceasing services with TH, Kerry still visits my mother. Dom, the primary caregiver for my father, is as near to an angel as there is on this earth. Dom’s mix of strength, faith, humility, patience, good humor, joy, and calm was unearthly. Not only did he assist my father, but he went above and beyond to assist my mother with tasks around the house. She loves him. Both Kerry and Dom attended my father’s funeral more than year after the professional relationship ended. The people at TH are truly remarkable. I cannot recommend them more highly to your family.

Touching Hearts at Home was an excellent service which my brother has used to help ensure that after spending time in a rehabilitation facility he was physically able to continue living in an Independent Care section of a Senior housing facility. My brother received excellent care with a number of everyday activities including showering which served to build his confidence to continue these activities on his own once Touching Hearts would no longer be needed.

We are so grateful for the care and support our family has received from Touching Hearts. The team of Kerry, Emily, and Justin helped our family navigate this process with care and empathy. They assured us they would pair my mother up with the right person, and they did just that! Tania treats our parents with genuine compassion, empathy, and respect. Touching hearts has given us all great peace of mind knowing Tania is there to check on them, assist my mother with daily activities, play games, enjoy walks, and whatever things she may need. Touching Hearts has truly made a difference in our parents’, as well as my sisters', quality of life. Our goal is to keep them at home and Touching Hearts has allowed just that.
