The landscaping at this property is poorly maintained. Several of the trees planted on the grounds have died and remain in that condition without replacement. Despite notifying management multiple times, no action has been taken. I’m leaving this review in the hope that it brings attention to the issue so the landscaping can finally be properly addressed.

The first thing noticeable is the cleanliness of The Woodlands at Canterfield. Beautiful location, delicious food, great staff, and so many top notch amenities. 100% recommend!

I moved my mother into the Memory Support Unit of The Woodlands at Canterfield in late July 2024 after an extensive regional search.<br><br>I have been thoroughly impressed with both the facility and staff since mom became a resident.<br><br>The facility is new, very well thought-out and impeccably decorated. The memory support and assisted living components are separated and the memory support wing is a dedicated memory support unit.<br><br>The facility offers an extensive array of activities and special use rooms that add to the appeal of The Woodlands. The dining room is spacious and inviting. The food here is very good and nutritious.<br><br>I particularly appreciate the secure outdoor courtyard area located within the memory support wing that affords our loved one precious time outside to enjoy fresh air and sunshine.<br><br>The Woodlands at Canterfield has an amazing and highly responsive management team lead by Mr. Ryan Carey. They are consummate professionals who understand the nature of their mission and execute their responsibilities to residents and family members alike - with care and compassion.<br><br>I moved my mother here after two years at another assisted living facility and could not be more pleased with my decision. I highly recommend The Woodlands at Canterfield located in West Dundee, Illinois for families looking for a top notch facility and staff to care for their loved ones in need of memory supportive care.<br><br>A Class Act by any measure!
