My experience with visiting angels has not been good. When I am visiting my father they interrupt and think they can just take over and very disrespectful and rude and don’t give family members anytime to visit. The second they arrive they think they can take them away and do whatever they want while the family members just have to wait. They have even came in multiple times with masks on and you can tell they were physically sick, which in an assisted living is a big no no.

We've been very pleased with the staff at Visiting Angels! We had an amazing woman assigned to my mom and when she was unable to be there, VA was quick to assign another caregiver. While the service is pricey, it's in line with similar services, and well worth it for the peace of mind. Overall, I would definitely recommend Visiting Angels for someone looking for a qualified caregiver!

We have used other agencies and caregivers, but Ann with Visiting Angels was by far the very best with my dad. She was empathetic, kind, patient and filled with ideas to assist us and my dad. She went above and beyond every, single visit. We had to place my dad in a facility full time and that’s the only reason we stopped Visiting Angels services.

Visiting Angels is perfectly named as the caregivers for our mother are truly angels. Thank goodness for Visiting Angels - they have made our whole family be able to be worry free with the support, genuine care , and companionship they give our 97 year old mother. We are very fortunate to have access, in St. Charles, to their organized care.

I met Arlene and Bill Peterson through a family member and found them to be very caring, compassionate, thoughtful and kind people. When they told me they operated Visiting Angels it just fit their character and personality. When my family member needed home care they chose Visiting Angels operated by Arlene and Bill and it was the right choice. The care givers were professional, attentive to detail and always tried to engage the patient (my family member)in decisions for their daily activities and take care of their daily needs. I have only praise for Arlene and Bill Peterson for their very professional and compassionate approach to giving care to the most vulnerable people and when it’s family that is the most important concern.
