This was my Mom's 3rd rehab visit in 12 yrs. The past 2 stays were good. Her last stay was abhorrent. My Mom (97) came to the facility after fracturing her hip. It was apparent immediately that things there had declined since her previous stay. The poor cleanliness and lack of staffing was apparent. The staff was friendly but, some were difficult to understand. She was not being given her medications and, at one point, a staff member refused to give a med to her as prescribed by her Dr. When she requested ice for pain, it was either late in coming, or not at all. Her grandson started roaming the hall looking for an ice machine to get her ice after Mom and he requested it numerous times. She often was left to languish in bed in the same position. We moved Mom to an excellent hospice facility where she was treated for numerous bed sores (obtained at the Willows)that caused her terrible pain. Mom passed away shortly thereafter. I believe she would have had much less discomfort in her final days if the care at the Willows would have been better. I would definitely not recommend taking a loved one there.

What a wonderful place for your loved one to call home. I cannot say enough about the staff. Every individual we dealt with was simply incredible. The care is excellent. The food is wonderful plenty of activities if they wish to participate. This is five star all the way. Treating the residence with dignity and respect at all times.

My experiences at The Willows of Okemos have been exceptional. The facility is beautiful, clean and well outfitted. The common spaces, activity rooms, small living rooms in many places are very attractive and feel like home. The daily activity options offer a wide variety of things to do from arts/crafts to social events, games and out and about trips. Great!!!! But, in my opinion, the staff is the BEST part of The Willows of Okemos!!! They treat the residents with care and compassion. They are positive, caring people and I’m so happy my stepmom can call it home.❤️

I was at the Willows for 10 days after spinal fusion surgery. The staff was very attentive to my concerns and the physical therapists were very helpful. The food was very good considering the fact that they are feeding a lot of people both in their room and in the cafeteria. I would recommend the Willows Okemos to anyone needing post surgery care.

The Willows was wonderful for my two week stay after major spine surgery. I was especially impressed with the nurses and rehab staff. I had many aides that were really wonderful too. The facility and rooms are kept extremely clean. Also many activities and entertainment are provided. The food is really good. They have a special every day or you can choose of among from about 10 other meals. Breakfast is made to order. And have an extensive salad bar. Also have machines for coffee, juice, coke, etc for whenever you want. They work really hard to make you stay pleasant and comfortable. And the administration is on top of everything if there is even one little issue.
