My Mom has been a happy resident here for 4 & 1/2 years. She has absolutely thrived here. She has made many friends and joins in the many activities they have every day. I must give a well deserved shoutout to Megan McCann - an unbelievably extraordinary employee… an individual who is forever omnipresent, always going above and beyond. She just hosted another lovely Passover Seder dinner, as she has in the past, for many to partake in and enjoy. She truly cares about the residents - always making them feel special. Her energies are boundless! She has been instrumental in making my Mom feel at home here!!

Caring and professionally supportive are my words of choice to describe the staff at The Terraces at Lakewood. From initial meeting the first day with admissions and administrative staff for information and a tour, through all the emotional difficulty of having my 82 year old husband admitted to memory care two months ago, I have seen real dedication and true concern for each individual resident exhibited by the staff. Nurses are caring and responsive to concerns and any questions. Aids and other staff on the unit are always pleasant and helpful. The Activities Director, "Lexi" as she is affectionately known, is a multi-talented person who can equally motivate a roomful of challenged residents as well as help and comfort an individual resident who is having a difficult or emotional moment. I am always comfortable when arriving for a visit, greeted warmly and with respect. I made the right decision.

Filthy facility. Employees and residents constantly get sick. Roaches and black mold everywhere. Lack of funding in all departments leaving workers without adequate equipment. Regulations not enforced. Residents clothing gets washed in same machines used to wash urine and fecal filled rags. Pictures taken between 2025-2026. The 3 photos with circled dates shows how long they went without certain cleaning products (mopping solution and bleach)

Our family just wanted to say Thank you again for all you have done for our Dad. He is thriving at Leisure Park!! It took a couple months. But he is finally settled in. Has a few lady friends and meets up with two gentlemen that were in the military. He has a dancing partner, Barbara, at Happy Hour! My sister and I visited our Dad this past Saturday. We took him out to lunch and his high school friends that live nearby came by to visit. I have to say....I told my sisters that I have not seen our Dad laugh and smile and be so happy and talkative in a very long time. Thank you from the bottom of our families' hearts. You and the LP Staff are wonderful and do an amazing job with everyone there.

I visit my friend at leisure park a few times a week and the one standout element is the activity coordinator, Megan McCann. I cannot express how grateful we are for the incredible activity coordinator at Leisure Park. Her dedication and creativity truly enhance the lives of all the residents. Every event is thoughtfully planned, from engaging games to enriching outings, ensuring there's something for everyone. A standout event being the Halloween parade, which was a true highlight for the residences! Their warm personality and genuine care create a welcoming atmosphere, making residents feel valued and included. I've seen residents form wonderful friendships and experience a renewed sense of joy and purpose thanks to the variety of activities offered. It's clear that Megan goes above and beyond, always looking for ways to enrich the community. Highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a vibrant and supportive living environment!
