The staff at Sentinel of Rockland made this transition for my grandmother as seamless as possible. From the application process to the tour to the admission. Tzivie, Elena, and Ishel were a pleasure to work with and made things very easy for us. The facility is beautiful and the staff are wonderful and we feel deeply appreciative and lucky to have had this experience.

I cannot speak highly enough of Elena Perkins and my experience at the Sentinel. Elena is an absolute pleasure to work with. We have found her to be consistently responsive to all of our phone calls and emails. Elena is kind and patient, providing us with suggestions, answers, and most importantly, peace of mind as we navigate through the process of helping my sister with a transition into a new setting. Elena also took me on tour of the Sentinel, which I found to be very modern, bright, clean and welcoming. We are looking forward to the future and continuing to work with the staff at the Sentinel of Rockland.

Elena Perkins worked extensively with me throughout the process of admissions for my brother. She always returned my phone calls whenever I had questions. She is extremely thorough and put my mind at ease every step of the way. This facility is absolutely stunning and offers so much for its residents. I am very happy to have found such a wonderful place for my brother.

This place is awesome!!! I am so grateful I came across The Sentinel assisted living home for my father. He wants to maintain his independence and this home assists him with being independent as they provide assistance in the areas he needs. The admission’s process was easy as Elena Perkins guided and assisted us with obtaining the necessary paperwork. Her kind and gentle nature made her so easy to work with and she’s thoroughly informed and passionate about providing a great home to the elderly. My father is very happy about having his own room/space and he’s doing great in his new home. He really enjoys the activities and friendly people who live and work there. They have made this move so much easier for the both of us. The grounds are pristinely kept. If you have an elderly loved one looking for a great home with space of their own and a level of independence. The Sentinel is a wonderful opportunity.

I am extremely disappointed after my recent visit to Sentinel of Rockland. The lack of security and oversight was alarming.<br><br>When I arrived, there was no one at the reception desk and no staff monitoring the lobby. I was able to walk throughout the building completely unchallenged. Even more disturbing, I was able to enter areas clearly marked "Employees Only" without anyone stopping me or questioning why I was there.<br><br>Considering that families entrust this facility with the safety and well-being of their loved ones, this level of security is unacceptable. If I could access restricted areas so easily, it raises serious concerns about who else could do the same.<br><br>I brought these concerns directly to the Assistant Administrator, who apologized but then stated that "residents know not to go into those areas." I found that response completely unacceptable from someone in a leadership position. Security should never depend on residents simply knowing where they shouldn't go. Restricted areas should actually be secured, and visitors should be monitored appropriately.<br><br>After reading several other Google reviews describing concerns at this facility, I felt compelled to share my own experience. I also intend to report these issues to the appropriate governmental agencies responsible for overseeing assisted living facilities.<br><br>VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTING!!
