Best staff ever ! We call and they appear. They're always friendly and know your name. I love it here. I looked at several other assisted living facilities and The Residence was head and shoulders above all the rest. And it's so clean ! Can't say enough good things about it.

Mom has been very happy living at RPI since 2023. They take great care of her, and as she puts it, "just the right amount". She chose The Residences at Presque Isle Bay for many factors, the biggest being the proximity to the Lake Erie Bay as she loves the water as she always wanted to live near the water. She also enjoys the plentiful large windows and the sunlight that streams in. Including a photo of me and one of my sisters with mom at the PRI gazebo. I am grateful that she is so happy and well cared for.

My mother has been a resident at RPI for roughly eight months. I came into this experience at RPI with some reluctance and hesitation after my mom went through a negative experience at a previous assisted living facility in Erie.<br>My first experience at the Residence at Presque Isle was with Linsley, The Community Relations Director at RPI. Upon my first conversation with her, I was impressed with her professionalism. She brought a sense of calm reassurance into the process , took time to answer questions, and listened to any concerns I may have had. Since that time she has been exceptionally attentive and responsive, addressing concerns efficiently and effectively and consistently following through.<br>This has been my overall experience with many of the nurse, aides and other staff members caring for my mom. From the beginning, the staff at RPI has shown compassion, patience, and respect for my mom as a person not just as a client. I am regularly involved in my mom’s care and frequently present on site at the facility. As such, I have had many opportunities to observe the consistency, professionalism, and kindness with which my mother is treated first hand.<br>The facility itself is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The view of the lake from many resident rooms and common areas is breathtaking.<br>I am deeply grateful to the entire staff at RPI for their dedication, compassion and responsiveness to any questions or concerns I have had. This facility has made a very difficult time in our lives a little more manageable and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for an assisted living facility for a loved one.

The Residence at Presque Isle is a beautiful place to be. The caring and compassionate staff in memory care have been wonderful and welcoming to my father. I am a RN with a masters degree and am extremely impressed having visited a number of places in my lifetime. They engage him various activities and help him with personal care everything from bathing to clothing. This is not as easy as it looks even though my father is helpful and not adverse to it. The room itself overlooks the bay and is well furnished and the housekeeping staff is awesome. The managers are up front about what they are licensed to do which is very important if they need more assistance. For example, they can do two person lifts which in some places are licensed to only do only one person lifts. They do everything but IV therapy, trachea care, vents which some of it you would have home health anyway (visiting nurses) take care of. They have a license nurse on the floor and with only 18 residences. They are extremely responsive to my questions and provide accurate answers. Also, I have dealt with private duty care which is not always the answer if your parent is more active and wants to remain social.

We looked at several places before deciding on The Residence at Presque Isle Bay. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. They answer our questions and have always been very accommodating with any thing we ask for help with. Lindsey has especially been helpful with us applying to our long term insurance. Our loved one really is settling in and likes the facility and says she has never had a bad meal. I cannot thank everyone who works there enough for their love and compassion they show to all the residents.
