The history of Brevillier Village has been shaped by four major influences: The Episcopal Cathedral of St. Paul, the Episcopal Brothers of St. Barnabas Home in Gibsonia, the Brevillier Family, and the Ball Family. Because of this generosity, our multi-level campus is positioned on the beautiful banks of Lake Erie.

For those who need more personal care assistance, we offer 24 hour nursing services that seamlessly align with the activities of daily living. We also provide respite care for seniors whose caregivers need a break, whether because of an emergency or other personal matters.

Respite Care
Brevillier offers planned or emergency Erie respite care for seniors so that their caregivers can take a hiatus, be it for vacation, personal time, or pressing issues. Most major insurance companies can provide this much needed rest when the time comes.
What is Respite Care Exactly?
Sometimes respite care is needed when a caregiver must travel or has other responsibilities which need their attention. Respite care provides a way for caregivers to be temporarily relieved from their round-the-clock duties. At Brevillier, our Erie respite care for seniors typically includes:

Memory Care
At Brevillier Village, we use the term Memory Support (also referred to as “Memory Care” or Alzheimer’s Care) to describe services we provide to our residents who have Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Barnabas Court North is a Secure Dementia Care Unit licensed by the Department of Human Services.
Both private and semi-private rooms are available at Barnabas Court North. Our social workers, recreation staff, and Erie memory care providers all participate in continued education to ensure our seniors receive the support and services they need to fulfill their lives, while also maintaining their independence.
When You’re Ready for a New Home
If your loved one is struggling with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia and needs more care and supervision than can be provided at home, our Erie memory support services are a great solution. Generally, it’s important for those with cognitive challenges to receive 24-hour supervision to ensure their safety and the safety of others.
It’s never an easy decision to choose assistance for ourselves or our loved ones, but at Brevillier, we make the decision easier by providing the supervision required for seniors with dementia while also helping them to maintain their independence and a high-quality of life.
Resident Centered Care
Brevillier Village volunteer helping out resident. At Brevillier, we aim to meet as many of your individual needs as possible at our Erie memory care facility. We offer housing, dining services, maintenance, security, personal care, memory support, and many opportunities for seniors to socialize. We have a 24/7 nursing, maintenance, and emergency staff on the premises at all times.
For our residents’ convenience and support, we have on-site rehabilitation which includes physical, occupational, and speech and respiratory therapy. Moreover, Barnabas Court North’s memory support services can help stimulate the memory of those with dementia, and in some cases slow the progression of the disease.
Personal Care
Personal care offers other services for seniors who need help with personal care including grooming, dressing, medication reminders, and other activities of daily living. Brevillier Village’s Erie senior living facilities provide a wide variety of personal care services for our residents that are chosen based on need and ability.
Home Care
As we age, some tasks that were once easy and routine become arduous and challenging. To lend an extra set of hands, Brevillier Village offers non-medical Erie home care services to assist seniors with daily living activities in their homes.
Our goal is to help seniors preserve their dignity, enhance their quality of life, and minimize the challenges of aging. Conveniently, home care services are charged by an hourly rate, so you don’t have to pay for the time and/or tasks when you don’t need our help.
