The Reserve at Royal Oaks has been an absolute blessing to our family. My mother has Alzheimer's and while we knew the time would come for this next step, the whole family was anxious and dreading the decision. Lydia, the director and Nick the Mktg manager were incredible through the process. They quickly accommodated my mom who had a fall and they reassured us that she would be safe and happy. Not only do we know she is safe, she has smiled more in the time she's been there than she has in months. Her Care Coordinator treats her like her own mom and I see the understanding and care when I see her interact with my mom. The caretakers truly are angels on this earth. They told me I would see her improve in a short amount of time and not only did she improve she is doing much better! The home doesn't run like a business as I had been warned about. The home is run like a comfortable extension of the resident's home. I would recommend The Reserve to anyone considering placing their loved one in a memory care home. Caring for residents with memory issues is "what they do" and it shows. Very grateful we found them.

My father has been a resident since May 2022 and we could not be happier. Lydia and her entire staff take excellent care of him. Everyone is friendly, caring, and personable. The facilities are just right. Not too big, not too small, and the decor is cheerful and everything is well maintained. There are daily activities for the residents to participate in that add to their day and provide an opportunity for socialization. The food is always delicious. The courtyard areas for the residents are pleasant and my father and I like to visit outside under the trees. The building and outside resident areas are well secured with several checkpoints, keeping the residents safe. My siblings and I feel great relief knowing that our father is in a lovely facility.

My mother is a resident at Colonial Oaks Westchase. The staff is very compassionate and they do a really good job taking care of mom. Pat, Rodney and Charlotte are fantastic with her personal care, activities and communication with the family. There is no place that I would rather have my mom live. Thank you for taking such good care of her!

There is no other place I would want my loved one to be (since I am not capable of caring for her myself). Our experience has been that the staff is wonderful in every way - caring, attentive, fun, professional, energetic, empathetic, etc. The facility is bright with natural light, always clean, always music on somewhere, & always a positive vibe. I'm grateful for the Administrative team & their on-hands methods with the patients as well. Based off my personal experiences with Colonial Oaks on Richmond, I would highly recommend it.

Our family has found that Colonial Oaks to be the perfect home for our mother. It has been the first time in many years that we have not had to worry about her, we all now have a wonderful peace of mind. When we visit mom, we get to actually visit with her and talk about great memories instead of being her caregivers. The staff is amazing and make sure mom is comfortable. Mom always has a smile on her face when we arrive to visit, she is so happy. Our mother is again active and meeting new friends, she is much better now than she was at her home by herself. All her needs are met plus more, they definitely go above the call of duty. Colonial Oaks understood exactly what my mother and our family was going through and they were so passionate and supportive and made this decision, move and life change very easy, always being right there when we needed them.
