⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Pines Home Health & Hospice Changed Our Family’s Life When my father reached the point where hospice care became necessary, our family was terrified. Like many people, we had heard countless horror stories about hospice from friends and relatives. We were afraid of what the experience might be like and worried about whether we were making the right decision. Choosing The Pines Home Health & Hospice turned out to be one of the best decisions our family has ever made. From the very beginning, every member of their team treated my father—and our entire family—with dignity, compassion, patience, and genuine kindness. During one of the most difficult chapters of our lives, they provided not only exceptional care but also comfort, guidance, and reassurance when we needed it most. What impressed me most was that the care never felt like a job to them. Every nurse, aide, coordinator, and staff member we encountered treated us like real people going through a real hardship. They took the time to answer questions, explain what was happening, and make sure my father was comfortable and respected every step of the way. The level of professionalism was outstanding, but it was the humanity behind that professionalism that truly made the difference. They helped carry a burden that no family should have to carry alone. I can honestly say that our experience exceeded every expectation we had. Calling it “great” doesn’t even begin to describe it. The support they provided during my father’s final journey gave our family peace during a time when peace seemed impossible to find. Since then, my mother suffered a stroke and is currently recovering. Thankfully she is making a strong comeback, but if the day ever comes when hospice care is needed again, there will be no hesitation whatsoever. The Pines will be our first call. To Sarah and every member of The Pines team: thank you. The work you do matters more than words can express. You helped our family through one of the hardest moments of our lives, and we will never forget it. In my opinion, The Pines isn’t simply one of the best hospice providers in Arizona—it is the standard by which all hospice care should be measured.

A social worker at Yavapai Regional Medical Center recommended The Pines for hospice care for my mother, and I could not be more grateful for that recommendation. Every member of the office staff, nursing team, and CNA staff I interacted with during my mother’s home care was exceptional. They treated her with kindness, dignity, and compassion during one of the most vulnerable times of her life. They patiently answered every question and provided unwavering support to our family, helping us feel informed, comfortable, and confident in her care and in the hospice process. They made one of the most difficult periods of my life far more bearable, and I will always be deeply grateful for their care, guidance, and compassion.

I received excellent care, which is important. But also important is the way I was treated. Natalia was on time, willing to work with my schedule, was kind and tender as she treated my wound. I asked for the Pines Home Health and hospice because a friend had used them for a year. I’m glad I did.

My mother was in Phoenix and we moved her to a Prescott Valley memory care facility. We had prearranged with Kammy to make the hospice transition smooth. And it was. They were kind and on all of the things we needed to fill out so my mother’s care would be the best possible. Unfortunately she passed shortly after, so their time with us was cut short. But they are professional yet have a wonderful human touch. They are there for you. I truly would recommend them highly.
