The Oaks took my mother in for a 5 day respite stay, knowing she was hospice and would more than likely not be going home. They also went out of their way to make arrangements that would allow he a few days extras if necessary. Other facilities we contacted were not interested in helping us because she was in hospice. The staff were kind and helpful. They listened to our concerns and needs. When we realized that Mom was in her last day or two, they even brought a tray in with coffee, pop, and snacks for the family, so we could stay close. I'm glad we chose The Oaks and they chose to accept her for her last days.
