The team at this community loves and adores their residents. The care is bar none. If you are looking for assisted living for your loved one you cannot go wrong choosing Morningside of Decatur. The Executive Director, Business office Manager, Maintenance director and Director of Health and Wellness are the best of the best.

POSTED BY KAY MOSTELLER<br><br>My Mother has been at Morningside since November of 2023. She had lived in her own home by herself until then she was 98 when she moved in. We were really afraid she would be very unhappy. The staff went out of their way to make her feel at home and feel comfortable. They have been very kind to her. Anytime I have a question or issue it is quickly resolved. The residents are very friendly. The Director, Sammi Brooks, loves the residents and goes above and beyond to make them all feel loved. Great place for your loved one!

The management and staff here goes beyond the call of duty. This place was perfect for my mom. Her heart had been crushed after losing my dad after 56 years of marriage and she seemed to be going down hill from a broken heart until she found new life and amazing new friends at MorningSide. I would credit the staff as saving my moms life bc they brought her joy and hope to keep pressing. This place is beautiful and spotless clean. The meals are better than most restaurants. We are very grateful for MorningSide and would give it 10 stars if we could and highly recommend.

We visited several assisted living facilities when selecting a place for our Mother but Morningside was the only place that felt like home. Mom has been living there for a little over a year now and is very happy. She especially loves the activities and the fact that the staff is both kind and helpful. Our family is very thankful to have found such a safe, professional and welcoming place for our Mom.
