My mother, Agnes Jones, worked at The Lodges for a number of years. She was such a kind upbeat person and I know loved by those she served. When it came time for my mom to enter this stage of her life, she found herself right where she wanted to be...at The Lodges. It didn't take long for us to understand why as we experienced the wonderful care the care crew provided her. It was the kitchen staff, the nurses, the medical assistants, facilities staff, administrators...and the residents within the Lodges that made it a five-star experience for our family and my mom. It takes special people to turn an assisted living facility into a home...and it takes love....both are in great supply at the Lodges.

April 9, 2026, A year ago I wrote a review in reference to The Lodges. I am happy to reiterate my comments today. I am pleased to write a Letter of Commendation on behalf of The Lodges Care Center, 51 Main Street, Springvale, ME. When it becomes necessary for a family member to transition from his home to a care facility, there is much in preparation to find the "best" match. It is following extensive research for senior care providers in York County, and with others' recommendations, that the family decided that DLTHEALTHCARE was the place for my brother. My brother Joe was admitted to "The Lodges" about 4 years ago. This has been a happy place for him and certainly provided peace of mind for the family knowing that he would be well cared for. Besides all the activities offered such as Yoga, exercise class, Bingo, music concerts, various games, puzzles, card games, bus trips, recognition of its Veterans, pecial celebrations at every holidays, and so much more, this organization deserves proper consideration to its activity director, Lydia. With Cindy Goodson as its administrator, with an open-door policy, and Jessie Lyndahl, it's RDC Resident Care Director at the helm, the facility is in great hands. My brother has a good report with the entire staff as all attend to his ADLs with excellent attention. His continued challenges with mobility issues, vision issues, and cognitive issues continue to plague him, but with his fighting spirit, he remains determined to make the best of his situation. The compassionate and caring of its qualified staff certainly has helped him to maintain a continued positive attitude despite these health issues. It warms my heart that whenever I come to take him out, either for his medical appointments, family dinners, special occasions, or Church services that he is always warmly greeted by staff members with, "HI, Joe," "Where are you going now, Joe," or, " What's on the menu for tonight's dinner?" He has also developed a reputation of affectionately being referred to as "Joe Trouble" as he continues to exercise his right to advocate for himself. But, to all the good people at The Lodges who attend to him, to his needs, and to his crises, there is none better than an an angel who has become Joe's advocate and has rescued him in resolving so many situations that would improve the quality of his existence in his waning years. The family will forever be indebted to her. She is a true gem whose name is Jessie Lyndahl. Sincerely, For my brother Joe Bisson Roger Bisson 16 Candlewood Drive Lyman, ME 04002

My Dad has been there for about a year and a half. He has had several medical episodes since he has been there and the staff has been amazing in their rapid responses and getting ambulance services there right away. The staff is SO caring and supportive to him, and to us. I would love to call out the staff members by name, but I’m sure I’ll miss out on a name or names and as such, I want to just applaud ALL of the staff there. Thank you for all you do everyday.

Our parents moved to The Lodges Assisted Living last July. The facility is in great shape and is well maintained. The staff are top notch and provide a loving family like environment with lots of activities to engage to keep mentally and physically fit. We appreciate the team very much.

I've been coming to the Lodges as a hospice nurse for a year now. I can't say enough about the amazing care the staff provide. They are kind, loving, patient and thorough. The management here is amazing. They are easy to approach and really care about their patients and staff.
