My dad spent 2.5 months there after many surgery complications. Went in having to learn how to walk and with their assistance was able to walk out the doors! The staff there is amazing!

We originally placed my mom here for physical therapy rehabilitation, but as her needs changed, it became clear that she required more assistance than we had initially anticipated. Leah was amazing and helped us complete some very important documents much faster than expected. The nurses have also been wonderful in caring for my mom and making sure her needs are met. Brandi was also someone who we had the most contact with. She helped us through a lot of questions that we had with my Mom. She had some hints and tricks to help us make life more enjoyable as well for my Mom Overall, we have loved the staff and truly appreciate all of their hard work, compassion, and dedication. Thank you for everything you have done for our family.

Recently, my sister and I selected THE LAURELS OF HUDSONVILLE to take over care of our brother who needs nursing care. We had received wonderful testimonials from friends who had used THE LAURELS, to finalize our decision. After several weeks of care for our brother, we found that the prior testimonials were SUPER accurate. The staff is just outstanding. Our brother’s care is literally TOP NOTCH. If you need help for a family member, please read up on THE LAURELS as you will not be disappointed AAA+++

Im thankful for how attentive the girls are in therapy. They have my best interest at heart and encourage me to keep going. They keep trying new things to hopefully walk one day. They also have a great jewelry making class in activities, always bringing new things to fit everybodys interest. I appreciate everyone here and the care they give to me.

1st impression was the smell of weed at arrival. 2nd was the poor shape of the rooms. The thermostat had no cover and wires exposed. Quite the hazard. Rooms were very warm and it took days for a fan. Patient wasn’t bathed for 7 days. Sheets were blood stained and were only changed when a family member brought in new sheets from home. Took more than 1 1/2 hours to check a swollen foot. Staff gave false information of patients activities. Lack of records and proof of bathing. 1 nurse for 25 patients is not good. Strong smell of urine. It was sad to think how many people had no advocates for their care here. Owners must step up, treat their staff better so they can better care for their patients.
