TL;DR This is the somehow both the highest quality and cheapest memory care facility in West Houston and frankly I wish I could live here with my grandma. 100/10 I've toured more than 10 different memory care facilities and I can save you some time: this is the one. Honestly I hope this is still here when I'm old so that I can move in. It's heavenly. It's absolutely beautiful on the inside. At many places, everyone is in one room all day, or worse, a hallway. But here, they have many different activity rooms like the main living room (so fancy), a cozy TV room, a craft room with evidence of actual crafts and lots of supplies, an interior courtyard where they garden and the residents can come and go as they please, and others. Regardless of their ability level, everyone will be dressed and brought out every day to be with the group and participate in activities as much as they are able. The building is also so thoughtfully designed. They have windows into all of the common room so that the residents can see that that is a room to go into and will be enticed to go into the rooms and do activities. They have decorations placed off-center at the ends of the hallways so that residents can see that the hallway is not a dead end and they know there is somewhere to go. They even have a separate dining room for people who need dining assistance so that they can eat with dignity with peers at their level. Between the 3 courtyards and all of the interior windows, there is an abundance of natural light inside and it has such a bright and cheery atmosphere. The staff are so kind and helpful and everyone engages with and helps the residents, even the office staff. Everyone looks happy and entertained when I visit. No one is ever sitting in a wheelchair off by themselves with nothing to do. THE BEST PART IS THE PRICE. Memory care facilities are NOT priced according to quality; this is the best place I've toured and if your loved one needs a higher level of care, this will be the cheapest guaranteed because THERE IS NO LEVEL OF CARE FEE. You pay for the room and that's it. The price will always stay the same and will not escalate as their condition progresses. For us, that meant this place was about $4k/month cheaper than any other option, and most of the other options were quite depressing, whereas this one was delightful. They provide transportation, they have a fancy private dining room for private events like birthdays, they have a monthly family night, and you can show up any time you want to share a meal with your loved one. If they live here, they will do activities geared towards their ability level every day, they will be surrounded by their peers and be able to make friends, they will be cared for by people who treat them like family, and they will feel rich because this place is so beautifully decorated. You can come pick them up any time for an outing and they will be dressed and ready to go, you can even just meet them at a location because they provide transportation, so you do not have to arrive an hour early to get them ready and then break your back trying to get them into a car that is not wheelchair accessible. I cannot recommend this place enough. Some of the people here chose this place for themselves and either don't have any mental disabilities or are very high functioning, and this is still their first choice and they are very happy if you talk to them. If Heritage doesn't have any openings when you look, it is worth it to hire an at-home caregiver to wait for one because this place is it.

Feels like home. The residents are warm and friendly, and the staff always greet you with a smile when you walk in. They continuously strive to provide the best care and support possible. Choosing a memory care community can be a difficult and stressful process, but they are there to help guide you every step of the way. I highly recommend coming in for a tour — you will not regret it.

If you're looking for a caring, safe, and comfortable home for a loved one, I highly recommend the Heritage Memory Care Center. From the moment you step through the doors, you'll feel the warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes this facility stand out from the rest. We are so very grateful to have found a residence for my dear brother where he is safe, secure and cared for in a manner that meets his developmental needs beautifully as a person with Alzheimer's Disease. He has always been treated with the utmost respect and kindness. The staff at Heritage Memory Center are some of the most compassionate and dedicated people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. They truly care about the well-being of each and every resident and go out of their way to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy. Whenever I come to visit they have always been available to answer questions, lend a listening ear, or provide assistance with anything my brother may need. The facility itself is very clean and well-maintained, with spacious living areas, comfortable bedrooms, and plenty of natural light. It's clear that a lot of thought has gone into creating a space that feels like a true home, rather than an institution. Look no further than Heritage Memory Center. This isn't just a memory care community, it's a home where every day is dedicated to enriching the lives of its residents. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memory care community that truly feels like family. Lynda Case 5+ Stars
