Family experiences at the community are notably mixed. Several families praise individual staff members, particularly in admissions, nursing, physical therapy, and activities, for their patience, attentiveness, and genuine care. One family wrote that staff "got her up and moving" through physical therapy after a fall and burn. My husband spent several days for respite in the memory care unit. The nurses and staff are very friendly and took excellent care of him. The unit was clean and my husband was clean and happy. I highly recommend this place and will use it again if I need overnight respite.

The Heights of Bulverde is just what we were looking for to take long-term care of my mother-in-law. It’s located in a quiet residential area that lovely and peaceful. The courtyard is a focal point of tranquility and resident “porch time”. The facility is clean and the residents look happy and well-cared for. All the staff is so kind and helpful. My MIL loves all the staff and they love her. The meals look tasty and she eats well. They have plenty of activities and excursions to keep the residents engaged. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for care for a loved one.
