We’ve been delivering entertainment and attractions to The Harbor since 2017. Sandy and her team have always shown a sincere interest in making this more than just an assisted care facility. When the time comes to consider assisted living for a loved one, the family has to work through a great deal of research to find the right place. As my mother began to suffer from Alzheimer's and significant memory loss over the past year, we decided that Harbor at Renaissance of Greene County had all of the characteristics we were looking for in an Assisted Living Facility. We researched multiple facilities in Northern Virginia as well as the greater Charlottesville/Greene County area. One of our main concerns is our family is spread out across the US and we needed somewhere that could care for her and keep us informed between visits. The leadership and staff at Renaissance answered all of our questions and patiently worked with us as we looked for the very best fit.<br><br>Our Mother moved in a few months ago and we have been amazingly pleased with everything about the Renaissance. From the caring staff to the cleanliness of the facility and the attention to detail, we have been complete impressed with everything. Beth and her staff are readily available and have worked with us to ensure Mom is getting all the care she needs. I would strongly recommend Harbor at Renaissance should your family member need a higher level of care than the family can provide at home.

Let me start by saying I never thought I was going to have a loved one in a facility, but I can tell you we're blessed by hitting the lottery with the Harbor & their wonderful staff! They took such wonderful care of him the 3-4 yrs he was there. From hygiene, cleansiness, feeding, activities I can go one. The most important thing there is the loving, caring, compationate, care of the Office staff, Nurses, CNA's, & every other worker there. They are full of affection & love always giving 150 0/0, going that extra mile. I recommend the Harbor to anyone that wants a loving home for their love one which we were able to cherish with the family we have made there & still do♡<br>Thank you

We moved our mom here the first of March 2024. We have been very pleased with the staff and how they handle mom. They are professional and very friendly and knowledgeable about how to deal with dementia patients. It was the best move for mom and us. I highly recommend The Harbor. Thank you goes out to ALL the staff it is much appreciated!!!
