The facility seems really nice and the upper management seemed thoughtful and professional. Our experience was with the memory care side. My mother in law was there just 2 weeks when we decided this was not the place for her. Most of the staff that work in the memory care side walk around looking like they hate their job. Within 2 weeks we began to see bruising and the final straw was a bruise on her arm that had drawn blood and clearly looked like a grab. Her arm was torn and noone had even treated it . We bandaged it ourselves. Our hospice nurse had issues with the staff just trying to locate her Ativan cream. You do not get the feeling that they are compassionate or caring. We came in and found her curled up on a bench asleep and they had no idea where she was. They have a lot of memory care residents and I know it is difficult but we could not leave her in that enviroment. I would just make sure you make a few visits before deciding. This does not give me any pleasure to write. I just hope that if you are considering this place for memory care, please visit more than once and meet with the care team.
