If your loved one needs memory care - do not move them into Saddlebrook. They will be completely ignored, live in deplorable, dirty conditions, and completely uncared for. They rely on hospice to care for your loved one, but hospice only visits a few days a week. Don’t even get me started on the weekend staff.<br><br>We moved my mother in law to a new facility after 8 months at Saddlebrook (we kept meeting with them and things would improve for a few days, but would return to deplorable within a week). We didn’t realize until after we moved her what good care was supposed to look like. Please, do not move your loved one to this facility if you care about them.

If only I could give 0 stars! If you love your parents, PLEASE don't send them to their Memory Care Ward! I put my elderly father here in hopes he would receive the care I couldn't give him. I went to visit him one evening only to find him naked on the floor sitting in urine. There was nobody around to help. My husband had to pick him up and put him in his bed and we placed a new diaper on him. My father was healthy when we placed in at Saddlebrook (he did have Dementia) in December 2025 and is passed away March 11, 2026. Because of his Dementia, I believe they heavily medicated him to the point he was having SEVERAL falls within a day. Before I could move him to a better facility, we lost him. So when looking for placement for a parent, don't let aesthetics fool you with this place! It may appear like a quaint facility, but it is far from it! Don't make the same mistake my husband and I made! Keep looking for that perfect place for your loved one!
