Brought a resident and friend back to the facility after a weekend away and was greeted with the most appalling staff member. I believe her name was Carrie. She was so disgustingly rude to the resident for not telling me to sign in. I understand there is a sign in process which I was unaware of at the time. She yelled at the resident for not telling me to sign and it progressed from there. After I stated she was being very rude she proceeded to get angrier and argue with me that she was speaking to the resident NOT me, which I expressed was even worse. How someone like this can work with this population blows my mind. Absolutely unbelievable and unacceptable behavior.

I simply want to amend my review of this place. I was in the terrible state of mind considering my situation. I was granted the ability to stay here by social worker. I won’t see her name. I don’t feel that the legal consequences were explained to me in detail when I first got there and many things that you should know before making this type of decision. I have to say I am grateful for what they did for me in the in-term , and I am very sorry for any outburst or any alarming situation that I may have caused it was not intentional. Please forgive me.. the AIDS that work there do a lot for the residence that lived there. Some of them are mentally ill so have illnesses that need a lot of medication and some suffer from dementia and it takes a lot of patience on their part to care for these residents. Including myself.😑 your tax dollars are going to a worthy cause that helps people that that could not afford such amenities if not given to us by the state of New York and federal government please understand that thank you to all.❤️‍🩹

I had a great experience with the Elliot. At first, I didn’t know what to expect. The woman Brianna who did the admissions in the Nurse Rose couldn’t be a better help. My family member felt very comfortable, which he never does. He’s a nervous wreck all the time they made him feel so comfortable which made me feel great. I want to thank everybody at the Elliot for being so welcoming.
