A year ago, my review of Commons was bad... It's improved tremendously with the arrival of a manager who gets things done and perhaps the owner listens to! Service and maintenance have improved. Keep it up!<br>Great Potential, Terrible Management! My review WAS Good, now No More! Recently the complex changed ownership and Everything has gone Downhill quickly. My brother has lived in 1 BR+Den apartment at The Commons for five years. Overall, the location, apartment size, co-located living options available on-site, the building design, secure entries. Now, No service coordinator, Maintenance delayed or non-existent, Services removed. Can't understand why an owner would neglect residents or damage such potential.

I have to agree with the most recent reviews. My mother moved here 4 years ago and things were quite nice. As one review mentioned, April was professional, caring, and very easy to work with. Unfortunately, she left for a better job. For the past 2 years, the place has steadily gone downhill. The personnel (with the exception of Will) are snarky and uncaring. To help a resident or potential resident is an interruption from playing solitaire on thiepr laptop. We're in the process of finding a new place. I would definitely NOT recommend The Commons.

Although The Commons is very well maintained, if you have ANY other alternative, take it. They do NOT live up to their advertising and staff turnover is outrageous. They are more concerned with getting their money than providing the services they advertise.

Stay away from this place. In the past they were a good place to live. Now, they are impossible to get answers from when you need help. The fourth new manager within the last year, quit. When their hotline answers, it goes straight to voice mail and nobody responds. The only phone number they do answer is the one for new rentals. If you call that number for help, they just forward you to an number that nobody answers.
