The staff is horrible there is no compassion for any of the patients,, went to visit my mom she had been in her pull up since the night before and it was 11 am and her bed sores are getting worse!! Mom would ring her bell when we’re on the phone and it’s more than an hour for them to respond!!!

It's very hurtful to say because I truly believe many employees do care about their profession and many are from Martin County NC. This place has some serious Integrity issues. This will be the second time I have trusted a family to stay at this facility for short term Rehabilitation and their belongs come up missing. Three credit cards, a debit card, NC drivers license, phone cover removed from her phone all missing. Yes I will agree with the staff that my mother maybe have been confused while staying at that facility but a person that could barely feed herself at the time ,how could they remove a snapped cell phone cover that she had her granddaughter install. Most cell phone covers are hard enough the install and to remove. All her important cash cards, and NC drivers license missing. Cards that had no value were all left in her wallet. Even if she did remove those items they should have been in the room. She barely left the room and had a room alone. Cards, and phone cover were never found. The system is already taking all of the patient's funds for being there at the facility except for a few dollars each month. The stay shouldn't be free I will agree then the patients still have employees at the facility stealing their belongings. Please watch out for your family members that are in these communities facilities. Take pictures of what they have and don't let them fall victim to those thieves that prey on the sick. Facility Leadership please govern yourselves accordingly. Dear God please remove all employees that are preying on the sick for their own benefits and pleasure. AMEN

This place should remove the "rehabilitation" from its name as apparently there is no such thing in this joke of a facility. I am a PTA with over 14 years in skilled care so I know for a FACT that moving a person's legs PASSIVELY and NEVER getting them out of bed is NOT therapy and billing insurance for this is fraud. I had a loved one in this place unfortunately and they were neglected severely and their condition worsened. Placing a try of food in front of someone but not trying to assist them? Never getting them out of bed? Not providing pain management? Just letting them lay there day after day? This place needs to be shut down. I wouldn't put a dog in this facility and the joke of a staff should find new careers because either they are not good people and do not care about others and the job they are paid to do or they are genuinely stupid. Either way it is my sincere hope that this place will get shut down and that people will read these reviews and NOT put ANYONE here. Research them. They have had to do a name change not very long ago. It's what nursing facilities like this have to do when their care is so poor and they get in trouble with state so much they have to change their name to try and redeem themselves but it is still a crap facility without proper care. This place is a disgrace to healthcare.

If you care anything about your loved one, you will find another care facility. The unprofessionalism and unsanitary conditions are deplorable. My mother-in law, who has dementia and mild seizures, was staying at this facility and was treated less than human. Her conditions worsened at this facility as it is believed that she did not receive her medication as required. Due to staffing shortages and lack of compassion, this place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. My mother- in-law is now in a facility where she is getting great care from staff who are competent and cares. I will be filing a formal complaint with DHSR. Eventually, their negligence will lead to a tragic event. Please do not use this facility.
