They post activities but they mostly dont participate because the activities director said no one shows up so she just doesnt follow thru. Staff propped the outside door open 2x with a chair also Mother was taken to the hospital because she pulled out her Pic line they put in while she was in her room due to her being dehydrated!!; by the time someone went back to her room it was as if a blood bomb exploded. When we returned 6 hrs later from the hospital my 87 yr old mother couldn't rest in her room because of her room being a bloody mess. I had to clean and throw away her linen, clean walls her recliner etc of blood. Bradford never apologized or anything. Later they wanted to move her to a different room, the room had a cracked window and aged so badly you couldn't see out. They said they would fix the window but never did. They didnt move her to the private room with the broken window, , they then decided to move her to the prison yard they call memory care. A semi private with no phone, broken tv, peeling paint etc. Since being there she has become depressed, her decline is rapidly changing, and personal items are missing. The yard is baron, the sidewalk is cracked, the wall above my mother's bed: there is paint peeling off the wall and you can rest assured staff will have a "pat" answer. They will twist words and play the blame game very effectively. I must say that during the time my Mother has been there i have had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful caregivers, they are not all unpleasant. I have complained about things and was told they dont have enough staff. There are some bad apples at the Bradford, but for the most part the overworked staff are very nice
