I just wanted to let you know the staff on the women's side are amazing. They interact with the clients and have such a good way of caring for them with so many personalities to deal with. The weekend ladies do a great job with everyone.

I'd like to share my experience with The Blossoms of Fort Smith. This nursing care facility was originally going to be just a short stop for my husband after months in Mercy following a bike accident. The Blossoms accepted our insurance and my husband was scheduled for a two week stay to work on PT, OT, Speech Therapy, etc. It turned out that he was still suffering from catastrophic symptoms of his brain injury plus other physical disorders brought on by the accident. He was again back and forth to Mercy and now he has begun hospice. The gals at The Blossoms have been there to help answer questions, care for my husband and help calm me with explanations. They helped me get a fast track to Medicaid so my hubby wasn't tossed on the street. The nurses are caring and the administration compassionate. People go put of their way to help each time I call or come by. My only concern is a cosmetic one. The facility is getting old and faded, and looks rather depressing inside with the 1970s cinder block walls and linoleum floors. I realize that this nursing hospital has been owned and operated by several other corporations over the years, and that the rooms and hallways may not be considered important in the larger scheme of caring for sick people. Id rather have funds directed at a patient's quality of life than a new paint job:). I can recommend this nursing establishment with my heart and head. My husband digs his nurses and they have taken the time to develop a rapport with him. I am kept in the loop with phone calls and visits, and am asked my opinion regarding his treatment. It is a very well run and structured permanent home for an infirm family member or a place for good short term rehab.

The Blossoms has been such a blessing for so many families. They are so active with each resident, they make sure they have dignity and respect while also wrapping them up in so much love. They are kind and considerate. I couldn’t ask for better. Knowing your loved one is in a safe environment & still experiencing the fullness of life is so important! Thank you Blossoms at fort smith!

Wonderful place. Kitchen staff are always excellent. Prompt and accurate service with friendly faces. My grandfather absolutely loves the kitchen staff. Says hes always in the dining room because he can't wait to see their friendly faces. His only complaint is of Deborah Fletcher.

Very friendly staff, knowledgeable, caring and listens when there are any problems needing to be addressed. I have watched every aspect from nursing, dietary, hours keeping to the administrator go above and beyond. If you or your family are in need of long term care services all the way to respite care The Blossoms of Ft Smith has you covered, just come book a tour and see for yourself. I promise you wont be disappointed, stop and say hi to the wound care nurse i hear shes pretty cool! 😉
