Ali Turcanu, the Sales Director at The Blake at Waco, has been incredibly kind and helpful from the time we first began considering The Blake for our dad, throughout the move-in process, and during the months since he became a resident. She has consistently been warm, responsive, patient, and genuinely caring toward both our dad and our family during this transition. There are many wonderful employees at The Blake who work hard to care for the residents, and Ali is often the first person families meet when beginning that journey. We are very thankful she was and is there to assist and to guide our family in meeting our dad's needs.

The health care at The Blake is outstanding. The doctor and nurses are exceedingly informed about the various medical conditions typical of older residents, and more specifically, those I have. The health personnel also show genuine empathy and concern.<br>These are certainly “5-star” aspects of The Blake. There are many other five-star aspects as well — for example, Ali has been exceptional in assisting my husband and me with our LTC insurance. I would personally give Ali 5 stars for the work she does.

I previously gave this community a 4-star review because I felt there were some changes needed at the time. I am happy to update my review to 5 stars because so many things have improved. I truly feel safe and at home here. We now have a new chef, and the food is delicious every day. One of the best parts is not having to worry about daily chores because the wonderful staff takes such great care of everything for us. They are kind, caring, and always willing to help. I would highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a safe, comfortable, and welcoming place to call home.

I have been very happy living at The Blake for over 4 years. I feel very safe and well taken care of here. When I had a fall, the staff was very responsive and took excellent care of me, which meant so much to me and my family. There are always fun activities and events to enjoy, which makes it a wonderful community to be part of. The apartments are lovely, and the staff is always kind, helpful, and caring. I truly appreciate everything they do to make this feel like home.
