If I could give 0 stars, I would. This place is terrible, extremely dirty, the staff is rude, and everyone in the office seems to just sit in their office on their cell phones.

Tarboro Health and Rehab is a Sandstone Health community which stands out for several reasons. Currently undergoing renovations, the facility is embracing exciting updates that both staff and residents are looking forward to. It is the only skilled nursing facility in the area with a dedicated Alzheimer’s unit, providing specialized care in a secure and engaging environment. The community offers onsite rehabilitation services for not just short-term recovery, but also long-term residents. As Michelle showed me around this nice facility, it’s evident that they serve a wide range of needs under one roof.

My Dad was here for rehab. The staff was dedicated, professional, kind, respectful and caring. He was non- ambulatory when he got there and was walking all over the facility and outside when he left. He’s able to shower and dress himself again also. They answered all our questions and listened to any concerns we had. I would recommend them to everyone and if he ever needs rehab again we would definitely return to Prodigy.

I have been to Prodigy a couple of times. The facility was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The care is excellent and the rehab department is the best. They go out of their way to make sure the residents get the best care possible. I would highly recommend this facility.

Prodigy Transitional Rehab is an excellent facility that I have had the pleasure of visiting multiple times. The staff and administration are top-notch. The nursing staff is kind, compassionate, and always available to assist with any needs. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. One of the things that stood out to me during my visits was the incorporation of music and singing for the residents. This added an uplifting element and brought joy to the patients. The administration seems to be dedicated to the well-being of their residents and it's evident in the efforts they make to improve the experience of the patients. Overall, my experiences at Prodigy Transitional Rehab have been positive, and I highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of rehabilitation services.
